- Sandra RubinchikOctober 19, 2014This place hits the spot for both dinner & brunch. Plus the back room is a fun, relaxed & reasonably priced place to grab drinks & hang out on a weekend night without loud music untz-untzing over you.
- Andrew CDecember 1, 2017Great low-key, but crowded beer bar... so many craft beers on draft, happy hour is only $2 off beers + bar bites are quite delicious and taste amazing (esp after long day at work)!!!
- Great spot to bring a laptop on summer afternoons. Big, open windows in the front, free WiFi, and cold beer make it a nice casual workspace. Nighttime crowds are absent in daytime.
- Jade KimNovember 24, 2012If you're looking for a light snack go for the bowl of pickles from the world famous pickle guys down the street or the classic German style hot pretzel with spicy mustard! Defo a must here!
- samantha hankinsAugust 8, 2014Impressive beer selection. Incredibly solid food. Kobe burger. Veggie burger. Roasted brussel sprouts! Tip: ask for a side of the Serrano sauce if you go with any sandwich or burger! Nice surprise.
- Ina LiJuly 5, 2016Sit by the the open window, grab a drink and watch people passing. A great selection of beer
- New York HabitatNovember 7, 2011This pub is great for either a weekend brunch or a late night party spot, though it can get pretty crowded the later it gets. They make a good mac n' cheese and we love the paprika fries too!
- Victoria NatenzonMay 3, 2014The classic "lets meet here before bar hopping on the LES." Actually has good food and a large beer selection. Good for groups whenever or a chill date during the week. Gets packed on weekends.
- Steve AndroulakisAugust 8, 2014The Lower East Sidecar is unexpectedly sweet for how potent it is. The Smokey Mule is firecracker hot. Chili aficionados will be impressed!!
- UntappdJanuary 16, 2013Very modern beer bar, with a great tap and bottle list. We haven't had the food yet - but it looks delicious! They have tons of choices besides beer, if that's your thing.
- Jeff Mendels🐸hnDecember 28, 2013Thanks to one of their signature drinks (the Delirium), I partially blacked out after 4 drinks on a first date, ended up marrying the woman, and we've lived happily ever after. Thanks Spitzer's!
- Bitches Who BrunchOctober 15, 2015The Bitches say: B+. Spitzer’s Corner offers high-quality brunch grub with a cool atmosphere to boot, so do yourself a favor and don’t put it in the “just a bar” corner. Read more
- Kristen VasanJune 18, 2016One of the best craft beer menus in the city. They always seem to have Boulder Brewing Chocolate Shake Porter on tap too!
- John GladyszMarch 7, 2013The best people watching spot on the LES when the weather is nice. Great bar food, great beer, great people, great place to enjoy a conversation. Very easy to run up a tab here...
- laura horakDecember 14, 2013if you're going for a token order, get the pickles. if you're in it for the culinary experience the spinach & artichoke dip is a must!
- Amelie PMarch 30, 2014Important selection of beers and some typical plates to grab a bite. Can welcome big groups but is really noisy especially if you just go for a drink (you'' ll have to stand above the crowd).
- Ahmie BecksOctober 23, 2014Great to gather with friends for drinks. During th e nice weather grab a table by the windows. Food is perfect for a pub, but could be considered for gourmet.
- Stephanie BonoJuly 8, 2015Great for groups! The truffle mac is delicioso. Try "Hell or High Watermelon" by 21st Amendment Brewery. Comes in a cool can & is perfect for summer!
- Nina LoSchiavoOctober 7, 2015Great place for happy hour. Solid and affordable bites/dinner menu. Place is pretty big so they are able to keep sound and crowding reasonable.
- CassandraFebruary 20, 2012Still thinking about the lemon ricotta pancakes I had here Saturday.. & it's Monday. SO good. Comes with nanners cooked inside, maple syrup & this sweet cream sauce with blueberries & raspberries. Mm.
- Sit at the bar. Order hand cut fries, truffle Mac and cheese, and a nice glass of Malbec. Let the city melt away behind you. Relax. Rejoice.
- Zack KinslowMarch 17, 2016Truffle mac n cheese, steak frites, fish tacos, breakfast food, pretty much everything is good if you're into gastropubs
- Generally I love the draft beer selection and food here. Grilled atermelon salad and cauliflower are excellent. But, unfortunately, the veggie burger is disgusting... Stay away from that one!
- One of the best bars in NYC. It has a great vibe, an extensive beer list, and awesome food.
- Wendy QiuMarch 31, 2015Greenpoint Milk and Honey beer... is made of honey and chamomile .. tastes like sweet oatmeal, suprisingly delicious. Ask for samples!
- Nate BeattyMarch 23, 2015I could get two sides of the brussel sprouts and call it dinner. Don't miss those. Phenomenal beer list, too.
- İpek A.November 13, 2014Love the Old Fashioned here... And also it's nice to watch street while sitting over there
- Geoffroy BablonFebruary 24, 2014This place gets out-of-control packed on a Saturday night. If you're there then, head to the back room and hang out at the bar, it's a little calmer there.
- Pickles are a yummy deal for $5 but the Kobe sliders are a complete bust. They somehow made them medium rare and tough at the same time.
- Alyx HeartcoreJuly 1, 2013Delicious pulled pork belly but the home fries were very spicy and lacked an enticing taste. Wish they would label the home fries as spicy on the menu. Did not expect that taste at all.
- The grilled chicken and avocado sandwich is perfect. No, seriously. If you don't know what to order, go with this. Like I said, it's perfect.
- Clyde Kelly J.November 29, 2014The fried chicken sandwich was amazing. Lots of craft beer options. Good place to have a beer with friends.
- TrevorOctober 13, 2013Often noisy and busy out front, look for a table at the back and enjoy a good beer list with pretty good food in a semi-outdoor space.
- CompassApril 18, 2014Dine on rich bar food at long communal tables, while enjoying the restaurant’s rowdy bar scene and extensive list of craft brews.
- Over 30 beers on tap, including one of my all-time favorites: Ommegang's Three Philosophers. Big space, but can get quite crowded.
- Love this place during the weekday, never too crowded. Weekends can be a nightmare. Good tap selection.
- Really good gastropub with 20+ interesting beers on tap. Food is super too (although not cheap). Gets loud in the weekends. Prepare to get carded, multiple times if you are really lucky.
- Lisa GanskyJuly 7, 2012Spitzer's tends to be extremely loud at night. It's nice to come on a Saturday for a late lunch. Sit by the window & have a beer. Great people-watching.
- Vibhoo JApril 20, 2014Great selection of beers like Ommegang, Allagash, Delirium Tremens, Liquid Gold and lots of others. Do try each one.
- Alastair TseJune 7, 2012Avocado sandwich is amazing here for brunch. And probably the best selection of American microbrewery beers I've stumbled across.
- Kim PhamMay 31, 2015It's a bit mad on summer weekend nights, but great for post-work drinks and big groups.
- Dougie FreshJanuary 26, 2014Fried chicken sandwich is fantastic. A touch of their intense hot sauce and you have a delicious meal.
- nathan archambaultSeptember 1, 2012One of the non-douchiest establishments in the LES. Grab one of their many beers and order a round of sliders for the table.
- J.R. ReedOctober 27, 2017Amazing beer selection - really good place to chill with friends (but no TVs FYI)
