Asian baked goods=FUCKING MOIST! The Taro Bread is by far the most popular (but also runs out). One day it ran out & I discovered the BLUEBERRY BREAD and it has since REPLACED the Taro Bread for me
They know SWEETS, but the Portuguese Egg Tart (aka "Natas" aka "Po Tat" in Cantonese for the Macanese version) IS the reason you should come here. It's amazing, not too "eggy" w/ a awesome sweetness
Baked goods are phenomenal here, but that Bacon Cheddar Biscuit BAFFLES ME! It's crumbly and dry looking, but when you stick it in your MOUTH it's so good, more moist than you'd expect & SO addictive!
Ummmm.. the tip's are SPOT ON (and we already have like two - Mac+Cheese pocket AND that AMAZING Thai Ice Tea pie... frick-frack-FUCKING AMAZING!
HK-style baked goods (aka NEVER too sweet) w/ a lot of savory baked goods mixed in for tasty measure too. More expensive (& prolly bigger) than other Chinese bakeries but still very good
#1-Team SK's favorite version of the Empanada AROUND. Hand's DOWN! #2-Pandebono + Bunuelos. SO comforting! Both similar in flavor, but prepared differently (one's baked + one's fried: respectively)
omg..OMG..OMFG!! The Bread Pudding (if/when they have it) is so fuckin' good I'm pretty sure I had a multiple-mouthgasm (even in the take home version!) So good, so rich, so buttery - AMAZING!
Again, all the tips are spot on. resh fruit donuts are great, but the local faves are most DEF "on the money" incl that incredible TIGERTAIL. Oh man, their donuts are so doughy good & that's a biggun!
Butterscotch Budino.. Budino.. BUDINO!! (you can also get it from Mozza-2-go too I think) It's so salty-sweet good.. "uh huh huuuuuuuh"
There are SOOOOO many cakes here. I would just point, buy and eat. They rotate quite a few of them too (I wanna know who makes their cakes?!?!)
