The long tail boats pull up to the shore around noon to sell food and drinks. The fruit shakes are a must have!
From there you can take the long tail boat to Railay Beach West (100B one way), one of the best beaches in the world. Good for climbing, snorkelling and kayaking.
There are no wifi hotspots, limited electricity, no streets, just dirt roads... But it is totally worth it when you have the most amazing view and a great connection with the nature!

The beach is huge - about 5 km long - and a great alternative to the crowds at Ao Nang. It has a very gentle slope, so note that during low tide the water goes out quite a ways because of this.
Where they filmed The Beach. Nothing to shout about. No real need to pay the 200b to access the vicinity if you go by the back way - which has a tad choppy waters, and has a more authentic feel too!
Some stunning scenery to be seen by boat with the lime stone cliffs, but Phi Phi is a tourist zoo.
The blue pool is amazing it worths the extra walk from emerald pool. Emerald is quite busy but nice too.

Lovely place! One of my favs in Krabi. lucky we went before the crowd of tourists came otherwise it won't be so nice. At the base of the waterfall there is a mix of hot and cold water. Pretty cool

Nui, the owner, is a very humble and has a lot of interesting stories, and the atmosphere in the dining room is very peaceful and tranquil, just like the room he provides. Love being here!
Western style food in Thai restaurants is not usually fantastic, but the Relax is exceptional, absolutely amazing western breakfasts, sandwiches and coffee, to complement the great Thai food..

Come to pier little earlier than 8 a.m. and buy ticket at boatsmen. The earlier you get to island, the longer you enjoy its quietness, at about 10 am hundreds of people start coming there...
The treasure of Bamboo Island is beneath the waves. It’s a wild kaleidoscope of marine life and a rainbow of coral down there. Pull on your snorkel and get up close and personal with a clown fish.
Buy here the tickets to Phi Phi island, it's around 400 bath and they pick you up from the hotel.
Nice fresh change to the thai food! Lovely samosa and salad as well as self baked bread with hummus! Receipies change depending how the chef feels, so every tune might be different :) Lovely owner.
Great thai food, friendly service, very nice prices! Definitely worth to stop here for a dish. They also have western kitchen, but haven't tried that one. Cool bar in the same place in the evening.

It's a beautiful and quiet beach. It's great to watch the sunset. If you want to swim, do it in the morning or right before sunset. Avoid the afternoon, since there is a big reef visible at low tide.
This is a family friendly beach. Great swimming, with lots of space on the sand at high tide. Some small jellies in the water, and some snorkel opportunity at the North end.

The A.W. is something you should do in K.L. , you can have a tour around and see the cute puppies. Afterwards you can walk a dog to the beach or the river. They are really doing a great job there!
Eat in candlelight on the beach. Beautiful, fresh grilled fish on the open air barbecue is a real treat. Very reasonably priced and a real find on Klong Dao.
