- Rubén GarcíaNovember 25, 2017Love the rustic and homey vibe of the restaurant. Solid food and good service. However I found the pasta dishes not too special and quite pricey.
- Asli SApril 9, 2021Nice outdoor setup, good for dates, good service. Our area was chilly but other tables had heat lamps. Pappardelle w/ wild mushroom special was great. They bring bread + bean dish to start. Cash only.Upvoted Oct 5
- Always solid Italian at this neighborhood place. Don't miss the tagliatelle, chicken parm, daily specials or the eggplant/ tomato side. Great wine list. Super cozy for dates or catch up with a friend.
- Such an amazing neighborhood gem. All the food is amazing, but the bolognese is mind blowing, and the black kale panzanella will be the best sale you ever ate.
- IrmaZandl ZandlSlantJanuary 1, 2016First time here on New Years Eve and liked it so much even during this insanity that I will be back. Tried the lemon spaghetti - way overrated but other pastas v good. Burrata is excellent.
- Sarah BrinkFebruary 9, 2016Amazing night out for a birthday dinner. We had the limon spaghetti, kale salad, and the Monday night veal special. No complaints; just super amazing. Oh, and get the hazelnut Panna cotta!
- Jason BrewJanuary 3, 2016Great Italian restaurant that's slightly hidden on 2nd street, but not a secret so be sure to make reservations. The daily specials are all great but I loved the cacio e pepe
- Leanne ZMay 17, 2017Great service for a birthday! Lemon pasta is so simple and fresh! Cash only. Rotating day of the week specials make me want to come back.
- Shawn ThorntonApril 1, 2016Share plates of amazing pasta with friends! Share tasty bottles of wines with friends. Great dishes for vegetarians and meat lovers.
- Sabrina MajeedAugust 9, 2015Veal polpettini was super good. The sauce on the lemon zucchini pasta was great too and felt really light. Also they serve beans with a hint of spice with the bread instead of butter.
- Joey DellatteFebruary 15, 2015Amazing restaurant, with true nice and good italian food. Very noisy for a valentine's day, but the price and the kindness of the staff are more than enough to make you enjoy the ManhattanItalian food
- Amy HansonOctober 24, 2013We sat at the chef's counter and truly had the best meal of our whole visit to the city. Wow!! DELICIOUS. And, the best tiramisu We have EVER had!! And we've been to Italy!!
- stephiedooAugust 21, 2015Love this place! Highly recommend seafood risotto, mushroom pappardelle and octopus appetizer. Also have Lambrusco by the bottle!
- can't go wrong. check the specials. bruschetta, veal polpetti, rigatoni w meatballs, polenta, veal milanese, all the pasta. one of my fave spots.
- Ms HeleneApril 16, 2013Good brunch served with 'Tuscan country bread' that comes with beans in olive oil, garlic and parsley. Perfect omelette with kale and goats' cheese and scrambled eggs w/ crispy potatoes. Great coffee
- Leisha MagsisiApril 1, 2016Great food & wine! Amazing spot for a group or a small romantic meal. Always get the lemon spaghetti! Tasty burrata too! Just a reminder that it's Cash Only.
- Karen VanettaNovember 16, 2013Obsessed with the Frank's Restaurant Group! Lamb Pappardelle was savory, burratta is always a win and the tiramisu was phenom. Only caution is that the Spaghetti Al Limone is far too strong with lemon
- Vincent FrissoraMay 18, 2014Been going here for over 6 years and never had a bad meal. Bufala mozzarella and gnocchi are incredible. Specials are always good too. You just can't go wrong.
- Leah SchallerMarch 29, 2015Spaghetti al Limoné. Of course. But also, you pay for what you drink from a bottle of wine! No need to finish the bottle (but you will want to!).
- Kevin GammarielloFebruary 17, 2019Double-check you bill here. Our waiter brought us our bill with a surprise round of drinks. So generous. Then I noticed he had billed us for them, and I had to have an awkward conversation. So tacky.
- Julia MillotJanuary 11, 2016Cacio e Pepe and lemon spaghetti are both simple and delicious! Also the hazelnut panna cotta is Nutella bliss 👌🏼
- Len GrandJune 26, 2014Sit at the bar...you see the chefs and cooks in action. Close enough to feel the flames when they splash some wine on the skillets
- refinery29August 3, 2014The dishes at Supper Osteria and Wine Bar have plenty of olive oil, but are loaded with veggies and typically lighter than more mainstream Italian fare. Read more
- the priest stranglers are always excellent. get extra spicy white beans and put them on everything. cash only.
- AllisonJuly 6, 2015Kale ravioli was delicious! Got the watermelon salad which was pretty much just watermelon but still delicious. Will definitely go back again.
- Justin TSeptember 26, 2016Everything on the menu is solid, but the spaghetti al limone is fresh and buttery- perfect.
- Tom JosephApril 6, 2015Really good food. The burrata serves at least 2, but the delicious house bread with oil and beans is almost enough as a starter by itself
- Joey McGeeNovember 18, 2014Always delicious. One of my favourite restaurants in NYC. The butternut squash ravioli is perfection for an autumn night.
- Share the burrata if it's on the daily specials, and follow with spaghetti al limone for the best monochromatic meal you'll ever have.
- Best Italian food I've ever had outside of Italy! Try the salsa cruda and the tagliatelle, and sit at the bar so you can see the magic happening in the kitchen.
- Elyse EstradaOctober 17, 2014Spaghetti limone will never disappoint. Wait is long and cash only but grab a drink at the wine bar next door cuz life is good. Priest "stranglers" sound crazy but they're good.
- Make sure not to fill up on the bread and bean salad that they give you while waiting for your food. the Lemon pasta, stranglers, kale panzanella salad, are all great items
- Rory ParnessJuly 24, 2015The tagliatelle ragu was on point and the gnocchi was pillowy yet hearty. Do not pass on the burrata.
- Jane KatzSeptember 18, 2015go on a thursday and get chicken cutlet milanese; portion is big enough for two so share that and some pasta + a bottle of the house red. can't go wrong.
- Alexis YipNovember 28, 2013The most tender pasta I have ever had the pleasure to put in my mouth. They were pretty much dancing with my tongue. Best Italian food I've ever had!

- Lauren HilaryJuly 21, 2013one of my favorite dinner spot's in the east village - super low key with consistently delicious food. chicken/ fish dishes are the highlight.
- Jessica ANovember 7, 2014Do as I do: glass of montepulciano and their classic ragu bolognese. It's so filling you could share (unless you're a dude with big appetite go solo).
- F-Factor NutritionOctober 26, 2012There's a great back room inside the wine cellar that seats 15. Plan your next big get-together here for the ultimate dining and wine-sipping experience!
- Rachel FeldmanAugust 9, 2010They have a lot of pasta choices and all of them great! Nice rustic decor. It's hard to choose what to eat. Love the papardelle w/Lamb. Worth the trip, but be warned, you may have to wait for a table.
- Joshua BackerDecember 29, 2013Everything here is delicious, it's just one of those places. Ask about a private room and prix fixe menu for big groups.
- The spaghetti al limone is crazy good here. This is definitely my favorite pasta place in the city. It's cute and cozy, and a perfect date restaurant. The only downside is that it's cash only.
- Paige CJanuary 25, 2021Definitely have to come back and try more of their pasta dishes. The meatballs were delicious.
- Barry GraffJanuary 13, 2017Rabbit was very good, also the Pasta Ragu. Don't forget to ask about the hidden door into the wine cellar.
- Chet ManciniAugust 9, 2015Malatesta of the East Village. Wine by consumption is a clever way to pay for vino. Spaghetti Limone simple and tasty.
- Antoine PrzybylakOctober 8, 2015If you love eating pasta.. I hope you are already on your way to the restaurant! U need to try the mushrooms! Just amazing!
- Lori LuoAugust 10, 2014A cozy (cash only) Italian restaurant with solid pastas (get the Priest Stranglers) and even better tiramisu.
- I love everything here, not usually a fan of meatballs but they make the best veal meatballs
- Christina NawabiDecember 19, 2014The atmosphere is fantastic and cozy. Perfect for a first date. The spaghetti with lemon was delicious!
