- Mike M.March 21, 2015They actually have a sand floor. No joke. And the entire place kind of smells like a mix of fish and beach in the best way possible.
- Ken Pierre IIAugust 7, 2014Lobster rolls are crack! It's a great spot if you want to be in the city and getaway from the city at the same time! Helps when u feel sand under ur feet as well!
- BravoNovember 22, 2010A sand floor, giant fish tanks, surfer memorabilia and big plastic tiki cups full of dangerous, tasty, libations. Next time you crave a zombie or a genuine OB vibe, go here. -Jacqueline Lombard, Top C
- Federico FrancioniJanuary 3, 2014Cocktails are great: try tiki ones! Calamari are a good starter. Lobster roll is a must, with chicken shrimps tacos. Finally, the tiramisu to "assemble" is very curious and well made.
- Chevar FrancisApril 8, 2018Surf bar fries were awesome, shoestring French fries with honey and sea salt. We ended up eating two batches.
- Joanne ReinardOctober 18, 2016Very nice bar in Brooklyn where sand is on the floor and is a getaway from the city! Cocktails look nice and their menu has a Hawaiian touch
- Laura KathSeptember 11, 2014The lemonade and mojitos are great! The atmosphere of this place is beyond amazing as well as the decoration! One of my favorite places in NYC.
- Graeme MetcalfAugust 25, 2013Frozen cocktails are awesome. I got the Mudslide which is basically like a huge icy coffee milkshake. Lovely.

- Frankie BuckleJune 1, 2013Fun decor and atmosphere! Order the surf fries. Awesome! Waiters are friendly but seem a little confused - sent us some extra orders a few times!
- Barton SmithJuly 29, 2016Fun vibe to chill out with a good selection of frozen drinks for those hot summer days. The low rating is probably for the food.
- Kendra P.MNovember 18, 2013Love beach theme with sand on floor. Mudslide snapper with sauce of your choice with greens and plantain is great staff was awesome
- Probably not someplace you would want to frequently, but it's good for some kitsch every now and again. Try a piña colada and feel the sand between your toes.
- Taylor WebbAugust 13, 2014The food is delicious and the drinks too. Very strong, which is awesome. Love the outdoor area too.
- Tiziana RApril 13, 2014Love this place!! Feels like Cali was brought to New York! The vibe is great, and caipirinha delicious !

- CristinaAugust 31, 2014Margarita very sweet, cool concept with the sand. Great service. Fun and different.
- David AsabinaApril 14, 2016Honey fries rock. Bottom of the tray gets excessively sweet though, but that is to be expected 😋
- Muhammed BulutJune 2, 2015The ground of the bar is sandy. It is like a beach. Very otantic. Service is also good.
- Brendan LewisOctober 1, 2014There are worse things you can be doing than having a piña colada in a bar with a sand floor. What they are, I don't know
- NearSay NYCAugust 2, 2011N-Sider favorite: Our must is the Surf Bar for their frozen Mojito's – slushee's for adults. They load 'em up with mint and are delicious.

- Alice PowersJuly 6, 2012When it's so hot outside you should seat on a surf bench, feet in the sand, drinking frozen margarita here!
- CynthiaSeptember 15, 2012Cool atmosphere and the signature drinks are delicious. The food was unimpressive, the salsa is obvious shelf bought. The clam chowder was watery and greasy tasting.
- Tom JosephMay 13, 2015Slightly gimmicky Hawaiian themed bar with sand underfoot, but reasonably priced drinks
- Canan GonensinAugust 20, 2015awesome bar! sand on the floor beach feeling! strawberry daiquiri rocks!
