Hands down, the best bar in New York, if not the world. You really can't go wrong unless you order a vodka soda.
Some of their drinks taste like holy water. Keep an eye on the alcohol-namechecks on the menu - I love anything with Yamazaki.
At the bar get the Convivialist cocktail, or treat yourself to a $22 shot of the rare Hudson Valley Single Malt
Best bar at naming their cocktails. They used to have a twist on a Mojito that was named after Rachel Maddow.
Warmest atmosphere in NYC. Sit at the bar till close (close being whenever you decide to leave).
I recommend taking one of the four seats at the bar, and ordering off the menu. Happy hour weekdays till 8!
Fun fact: this bar isn't allowed to serve hard liquor because its next to a church! Archaic NYC laws are the best.
Freeman's cocktail is a go-to. Feel like I'm in a hunting lodge. Gets way too crowded, but they recently started taking reservations.
