Excellent, excellent whiskey list, VERY reasonably priced. Very nice place, gets crowded, service is fast, they turn tables. Got a pickleback w/ four roses and an Akashi White Oak blend

The fried pickles were amazing, but I had to tell literally everyone I know about the Frozen Peach Cobbler cocktail. Please keep that around because I need to order it about 18405837 more times.

You can’t dislike a neighborhood bar this good. Same owners as a handful of other popular bars, but genuinely great on its own merit.

Many thumbs up for the cocktails. Also, I love any bar that serves bacon mac and cheese, but this one is particularly yummy. I saw they have pickle backs and a pickle cocktail that I want to try!

A very nice bar but can get crowded. Great for singles, mingling, and meeting new people. They serve good drinks and the fried pickles are pretty cool.

Very Williamsburg. Happy Hour $4 drafts. Sweet Afton Breakfast Burger (Pat Lafreida beef, fried egg, & bib lettuce) during brunch (until 6:30pm) is delicious. Mac & Cheese and Fried Pickles are tasty.

This popular Astoria spot gets crowded as hell on weekend evenings, so it's quite fortuitous that the outdoor garden provides a respite from all the loud-talkers boozing inside. Read more

Decent brunch. Had sumtin diff - the tea infused rum cocktail. Reco the beer battered pickle with beer. Avocado Toast was a simple and right execution. Seems g8 for after hours drinks with a group.

Best thing on the menu is the Bua Fried Chicken Sandwich. Get a side of spicy mayo with it. The ribs and burger are ok. The fried pickles are so-so at best IMHO. Breading to pickle ratio is off.

Enough with the fried pickle tips. We get it. When you're here, get yourself a Rootbeer Cocktail. If you're hungry, share the Mac and Cheese. If you're feeling frisky, talk to the girl at the bar.

Pickles, fried or no, are fantastic. They've also got a decent beer selection. In the summer, go in the afternoon and take a seat out back. Not the biggest patio but it's relaxing.

The sweet afton punch is Christmas in a glass. It's a good mix between a fir tree and a gingerbread cookie.
