- Gabby WebbOctober 20, 2014Seafood heaven! If you love sashimi, you'll love this place! $11 for lots of salmon sashimi!! I tried the bbq platter too and it was good. Take away and sit outside with the seagulls. :DUpvoted Sep 16
- Sadira Y.July 5, 2018Come here at 8am before tourists come!! Must try their Rock Oyster (Dozen at 21$), extremely cheap and fresh!! Try to stay away from those pre-fried seafood, not as fresh as expected.
- Nat MAugust 26, 2013The best oysters and sashimi I've had in Sydney. Get here before the lunch crowd hits and stuff your face with all the fresh seafood you can. Watch out for prowling seagulls when eating outside.
- Matt Ta-MinMarch 7, 2020Spend $100 dollars in one of the stores and you'll get an hour of free parking. The selection of seafood is excellent here. However come nice and early to get the freshly shucked oysters.
- Yoonie SJanuary 9, 2019Walk around then grab a bottle of wine, get yourself some fresh seafood and sit outside to enjoy your meal! Beware of the seagulls who’ll fly in and snatch food straight out of your hand!!
- PeanutButterSeptember 21, 2017Try not to buy things that cooked and placing at food-ready section. Pick the raw seafood on spot and let the kitchen cook for you. Scallop aburi from PETER'S is love.
- Linda LeeAugust 2, 2016The oysters are fabulous and extremely good value! Come before noon or all tables will be taken up by bus loads of tourists! The shrimps are also fresh!
- Hams SoloJuly 12, 2016It's not a trip to Sydney. Unless there is a visit here. So much, all great. The only downside is the crowds and the lack of seating. But selection and service, outstanding.
- Great choice of fish, sashimi, crabs and prawns. Delicious oysters. Here's bottle shop, so you can buy wine or beer for your lunch. Have a good time here.
- Tracy LohDecember 17, 2018a touristy place to visit, quite a good variety of fresh seafood from the local store outside the main building, recommend to check out out instead of the main building. https://t.co/u8FxEHKVzx
- Pimalyn KaewprasitOctober 8, 2015Fresh seafood and reasonable price. Best place for ppl who love Oyster or Sashimi... Yummm... Pls don't forget to share your seat for the others :))
- Michelle ChanOctober 11, 2014Very fresh seafood. Sashimi, oyster and prawns. Just be very careful when you are carrying food to the outdoor seating area. Make sure food is covered as the seagulls will dive in and attack you.
- Kyle GDecember 29, 2015Seafood galore, it's overwhelming and packed during lunch, wait on the long lines and take your pick, you can't go wrong and you won't regret it
- Fish Lovers Paradise, Pick up the best in Sydney to eat here or cook at home.Do not miss the torched grilled aburi scallops, they've the best 3 for $10
- Ruben Garcia MohedanoAugust 15, 2014The best place to buy fresh fish in the city. However, have a look around before buying: the best piece is not always in the same place. Great deli and fruit market too
- Ashley HoweMarch 25, 2016Love this busy market. Go for lunch (amazing sashimi), or get fish for dinner. A lot is pricey but they do have cheaper fish too. Salmon belly is awesome
- Constance | @croostifoodiAugust 23, 2018Choose your seafood and have it cooked the way you like. Calamari was super tasty, trout was overcooked - better ask them to be careful not to cook it too much.
- saimatkongNovember 29, 2014Go earlier on weekends as the place is very crowded with both locals and tourists. A must-visit when you are visiting Sydney. Read more
- Irina AndreevaMarch 7, 2016The best place to taste fresh oysters with a bottle of white wine. If you do not need official atmosphere of restaurant you should go here.
- Jon GleichJanuary 15, 2017Almost didn't make it but am so glad I did. Go Sunday around early lunchtime before it gets too mad. Seafood paradise, and not that expensive . Go and try something new .
- Weekends and public holiday can be chaotic for parking seekers. Try not to stay on the first 2 rows near Claudio. Go to the sites near the bridges as you tend to get more chance of parking space.
- Sabina SmolovaJanuary 20, 2015Do you want fresh seafood, wide selection, great price and do not mind about a view? Then Sydney Fish Market is the right place! (And it does not even smell like fish market;-))
- Elliot ChanceMay 26, 2015Always packed with tourists and locals. Obviously the best place to buy seafood in Sydney but there are plenty of restaurants that cook the fresh seafood.
- Marina KosmakovaJanuary 7, 2016Must-visit place! Tasty and cheap oysters - 15$ per dozen; fresh and perfect seafood - rather high prices (as always in here)
- Scott HanrahanSeptember 29, 2013Largest (and ugliest) Fish Market in the Southern Hemisphere. Go early and move fast cause if the weather is nice, it will be heaving!!!
- Yvonne CheeJanuary 7, 2016Super nice seafoods, beside abit over price of oysters and fruits there. Should improve the area for dine in, such as increase basin and washroom.
- Chloe KhorApril 23, 2016Never take the seafood basket! Choose the seafood and cook it on the spot! Sashimi is the bomb😘
- Loved the Sashimi Plate, Crab Meat Lava and Nigiri Sushi 🍣 ! The BBQ Seafood Plate was average.
- Jackson TsaiFebruary 2, 2015The famous fish market! Lots of freshly catch fish and seafood! Definitely a must stop by if your in Sydney!
- Celeste TanSeptember 19, 2015You can have the famous Doyle's fish n chips without paying double the price at fine dining! Of course it's not really table service and it's a very casual setting
- BEST! always come back here while visiting Sydney. you'll never disappointed :9
- Danielle L.December 29, 2014Skip the prepackaged sashimi and go for the slab of fish- they'll cut it into bite sized pieces for you! ~$12 for 250g's of salmon sashimi.
- Pedro MercesApril 3, 2015Amazing! If you like fish and/or seafood (cooked or raw) then this place is a must!
- Farhan RusmanOctober 17, 2012To all muslims, take note. Oyster kilpatrick in BBQ Grill contains diced bacon in it. Its NOT HALAL.
- Overpriced for cooked food and stinky at the best of times. Buy the seafood as early as possible (for freshness) and take it home to cook and enjoy.
- Buping WangDecember 5, 2016Seafood is reasonably cheap. The environment isn't quite good. Lots of sea birds hanging around for food, sometimes they can get quite aggressive.
- Come early in the day - lots of tourists come by the busload making it hard to get around. Lots of great herb plants on sale at greengrocers. Wonderful cheeses+deli products
- Kunal MirchandaniOctober 22, 2014Come here on a sunny day for some freshly-grilled fish. With chips, naturally!
- Nothing beats lunch at the fish markets. My fave is the grilled fish and salad from fresh market cafe BBQ grill. Kingfish, John dory and gemfish always superb. also do great grilled seafood platters.
- Sauces, dips, marinades, cheeses, coffee, chocolate, pasta, icecreams and good Asian selection - Blackwattle Deli is one of my favourite delis in Sydney
- The freshest oysters are across from the Blackwattle Deli in the walkway - two guys spend all day shucking them - pacifics and Coffin Bays, ridiculously good value as well
- barely anything open here on New Year's Day. so if you're thinking about having this as your first meal of the year, you might wanna consider something else.
- I bought the biggest, plumpest, most delicious king prawns from Claudio’s 😋😋😋
- ✨N J✨July 8, 2011Go for the tour starts at 7am for $20, and bring your food to the side ot the market where all the seats and tables are. You cant really view them from the front
- hello_emilyMarch 3, 2015A Sydney institution. Shop around & gorge on local prawns, oysters, crab & scallops.
