The marriage of France + Texas produces what chef Philippe Schmit is now nicknamed: The French Cowboy: tuna tartare with tequila, the Texas Caesar & more. A very good sommelier, too. [Eater 38 Member]

The goat cheese wraps were amazing, as was everything else. The beef cheeks melt in your mouth & the scallops were perfectly balanced by the okra and purée it was served with. Service is impeccable.

We were celebrating a birthday. First timers in this great restaurant. Worth to have a drink in the lounge, dinner upstairs and while singing happy birthday a French voice joined us: Phillippe himself

A relatively new French restaurant in the Galleria area. Nice place to have a drink or to enjoy their selection of interesting soups and dishes. Their unusual pizza is particularly recommended.

Tuna tartare w/ tequila tastes like some classic Tex-Mex dish. Burgundy beef cheeks looks like beef bourguignon, but taste like a juicy barbecue brisket? High-end French cuisine with Texas flavors.

The 3 course $20 lunch special was excellent, the service was good--the chef even came by to check in on us. Definitely want to come back for dinner.
