If you are a fan of oysters the baked oysters were probably the best i've had in a long time. The ponzu crab, prime filet mignon, spinach ricotta ravioli and poblano mac & cheese are also amazing! Read more

The marriage of France + Texas produces what chef Philippe Schmit is now nicknamed: The French Cowboy: tuna tartare with tequila, the Texas Caesar & more. A very good sommelier, too. [Eater 38 Member]

The goat cheese wraps were amazing, as was everything else. The beef cheeks melt in your mouth & the scallops were perfectly balanced by the okra and purée it was served with. Service is impeccable.

A relatively new French restaurant in the Galleria area. Nice place to have a drink or to enjoy their selection of interesting soups and dishes. Their unusual pizza is particularly recommended.

For an even more relaxed evening, camp out in the downstairs lounge (open 'til 1 a.m. Thursday through Saturday), where seating is plush and specials are written on the chalkboard walls.

We were celebrating a birthday. First timers in this great restaurant. Worth to have a drink in the lounge, dinner upstairs and while singing happy birthday a French voice joined us: Phillippe himself

The 3 course $20 lunch special was excellent, the service was good--the chef even came by to check in on us. Definitely want to come back for dinner.

Tuna tartare w/ tequila tastes like some classic Tex-Mex dish. Burgundy beef cheeks looks like beef bourguignon, but taste like a juicy barbecue brisket? High-end French cuisine with Texas flavors.

$5 for valet parking, and then they're expectant of a tip. Most Houston restaurants, valet is free. But once you're inside, try the Blessing. Delicious!!
