Must go to if in nyc. Great food: rock shrimp in lettuce, duck spring roll, New York sirloin with mushrooms, cod/Seabass. Don't get the huge fortune cookie unless you like fruits. It tastes okay.

Great ambiance and music! The food was delicious, with large, filling portions. Best dishes were the Kung Pao Chicken, and the Yellowtail Sashimi special dish. Very friendly staff; reasonably priced.

Amazingly beautiful and chic place to hang out. Huge bar with nice music. Very very crowded during peak hours. Love their orange and kung pao chicken and miso sea bass.

Midtown TAO is adding a dim sum brunch, with carts, stuff lit on fire, dumplings, & its sake bomb plunger. Try the Royal Rickshaw (the on-fire cocktail) and their quirky-shaped dumplings. Read more

Tao Uptown is such NYC staple. It's been around for a while, but everything about it is just flawless. TAO never disappoints! It is a more upscale restaurant but you definitely get what you pay for!

Amazing atmosphere. The food was okay- but the dessert was fantastic! Definitely must try the big fortune cookie. Wish the filling was all vanilla mousse though.

The hosts in the front are absolutely the worst. The food is delicious and the rest of the restaurant staff were excellent, especially the wait and bartending staff. Try the spicy tuna roll.

Shrimp & lobster spring roll, squab lettuce cup both awesome and more than enough for 1 person. Washed down with fab glass of Sancerre. Lovely bar tender as well, hope she enjoys her trip to Vietnam!

Total B&T scene, great ambiance ruined by sub-par food, comme si comme ca service - helps if you drink enough to disregard all. Budakkan across the street is consistently superior, food-wise.
