- Ross StewartMarch 18, 2013Customize your ramen, more garlic (it's free) or no egg, extra noodles, more spring onion. It's easy to get it perfect with their iPad ordering system. Sake selection at affordable prices.
- Serious EatsSeptember 9, 2013Modern, high-tech ramen shop in Little Osaka with iPad ordering for maximum customization. The Soul Ramen is a riff off of traditional tonkotsu.
- Adam MoreMay 15, 2016The ramen here is amazing. One of my favorite places in LA for ramen. Also it's pretty close to UCLA!
- Deborah AbibApril 5, 2016Tatsu is my favorite noodles place. The service is normally really fast, and the food is the delicious. I love the traditional and the red ramen. ❤️
- Joshua VillangcaDecember 1, 2013One of the best ramen I've ever tasted! The iPad ordering system they have is the coolest! Also, I love how you can customize your own ramen. :) ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- KayNovember 22, 2017Best vegan / vegetarian broth in LA! Attached is a picture of the “vegan Hippie Ramen”
- The red ramen is sweet and savory, one of my fav broths! You can't change up thin noodles for thick ones on the iPad but ask one of the cute male servers and they'll gladly oblige ;)
- Meira GottliebJuly 21, 2018Quite a wait to get to the iPad to order, then an additional wait to sit. Decent ramen, but not worth all the waiting. I wouls do takeout, the ambiance wasn't amazing.
- Rachel MercerDecember 16, 2013Definitely try the no-broth ramen. It is amazing. iPad ordering stations ate nice - just make sure the waitstaff knows what table you took!
- Ryan WilliamsJanuary 24, 2014Come here for lunch m, dinner or take out. Any way you slice it, the Ramen is phenomenal. Bold Ramen is my personal favorite.
- Arman AfghaniMarch 17, 2017My favorite place to get ramen by far. Get the bold ramen, has a really great flavor!
- Tiffany PrugpichailersApril 22, 2014Press fresh garlic into your ramen. Makes it even MORE awesome. The red, bold, and soul ramens are all excellent.
- Not in the mood for eating out? Check out their online ordering. Works like a charm every time. Parking sucks for take out much of the time so we use the side street nearby and walk a short block.
- Drew ShannonJanuary 20, 2015As someone who prefers Shoyu ramen to richer tonkotsu ramen, I'm a big fan of the lighter soy-based "hippie" broth.
- Nico DonovanAugust 16, 2014Got the soul ramen. While I found the noodles too think the broth was very flavorful. The red rice was great as well
- William KhoeJune 30, 2013Love the Soul Ramen and Naked Ramen! Open really late. Authentic ramen and great vibe.
- Cody KrainockDecember 8, 2014The bold ramen and old school ramen are both delicious. However, the service can be slow - it took over 25 minutes to get my order one afternoon.
- Jeremy ConnorsSeptember 25, 2014Soul Ramen, "gluton free" w/ egg (gluton light is more like it...) YUM.
- JenniferNovember 26, 2012The naked ramen is great with tofu but the egg was kind of undercooked for me. Also, the breadcrumbs give the noodles a good crunch
- The tonkotsu is solid, but the naked ramen is the perfect summertime order.
- Christina ChinOctober 31, 2015Order on screen then wait to be seated. Crowded place , ramen was decent
- Mahesh Paolini-SubramanyaAugust 30, 2014They don't stint on the garlic here , and that's a good thing!
- Lynne 🐰 QuJune 10, 2016Long wait! Figure out the actual wait time before put your order on the iPad, it was misleading. Some wait after sit down too. Not recommend for a quick meal late night.
- Open 'til 3am! Staff are awesome. Bold ramen is good. Ordering and tip are on the ipad.
- Gianni ShihFebruary 15, 2014Trying to be all fancy and tech-savy with iPad ordering machines that don't even work. Good job.
- Janet Anne PanenJuly 25, 2013Just upgraded their menu--they now have "soul ramen" and "black ramen." SO MANY CHOICES!
- Two ramen options only. Broth or no broth. Go with a friend to try both!
