- The Corcoran GroupJune 19, 2012Each floor has its own distinct feel – we recommend going straight up to the third floor beer hall style rooftop and enjoying a tavern burger and a few craft beers.Upvoted Oct 16
- Brad GaroonJune 18, 2015The Famous Burger is unorthodox: halved, skewered, and served on an English muffin. Next time, I'd go for the more traditional Tavern Burger, with garlic aioli and dill pickles. Read more
- Time Out New YorkJune 11, 2013On top of a 19th-century townhouse sits this German-inspired beer garden. You’ll have to journey through two floors of crowds and thumping music to get there, but it’s worth the fresh air and steins.
- CassidyDecember 13, 2014for a neighborhood pub, all their menu options are excellent and excellently executed. service is kind and attentive.
- KarenJune 2, 2018The rooftop area is quaint, and much lower than other rooftop bars. However, on a sunny day, it's nice to have the shade from the adjacent buildings.
- Great food, mainly a burger place but most of the dishes I saw looked enticing. Tequila Jalapeño aïoli on the sliders is delicious. Fries are crispy & salted thoroughly, finished them all!
- LisaJanuary 5, 2013With an extensive beer list & 24 on tap, there is something for everyone. The burgers are delish & the brunch menu is extensive. This side street gem across from the #Gansavvort hotel is a delight.
- EchoDAJuly 9, 20122 floors of bar mayhem and a roof top, great bar tenders and amazing fries for starters, it can get loud, and busy but then hey! its a BAR!.. they have private booths as well!
- Love Tavern 29. I love the staff especially Jaclyn. She is the reason we keep coming back. She has a great grasp on the speciality beers and makes (my favorite) a great manhattan.
- Ernesto GutierrezJune 26, 2018Low key rooftop to have a couple of beers and chill. I’ve been told the food ain’t great. Rooftop shows the World Cup games, single tv though.
- very good lunch menu and plenty of room inside, a little dark though..definitely prefer the roof top garden, although no happy hour
- Mike WaterhouseNovember 16, 2014Very cool trendy sports bar with a lot of character and great food. Try the flatbread or mac & cheese -- so good!
- Cooper G.September 25, 2015Bar staff is awesome we lost a ring here and they went out of their way to help us recover it from the floor boards..fun people killer times man!
- Bliss GriffinAugust 29, 2014The limoncello mascarpone cake is fabulous, and you'll be a lucky bastard if Stephen's the guy who serves it to you.
- Julia MontiNovember 2, 2015Great rooftop to grab a craft beer when the weather is nice. Good atmosphere for catching up with old friends.
- Eric ShineSeptember 28, 2018Great brunch spot. Bottomless mimosas are worth it, but service can be spotty when they are busy.
- Beatrice M.June 26, 2013Sandwiches are huge! Very nice rooftop + great beers which seem to get REALLY everyone drunk judging from the happy atmosphere. Super chilled place, Ill go back!!

- Ashley ChristianoAugust 12, 2014Staff was SO friendly! Might be a bit of a wait for the rooftop beer garden, but it's super nice and relaxed up there.
- Great bar all around. Definitely come here to watch football games - $4 beer specials and great food specials to go with it. The sliders are awesome.
- Meg FarmerMay 5, 2015Need an inexpensive rooftop option? This place tries to be a Biergarten in midtown, and mildly succeeds. Not too bro-y, grab a picnic table on the 3rd floor & keep expectations low.
- Jason BrewJanuary 26, 2015Relatively varied beer selection and a decent bar. I've enjoyed a few afternoon drinks here but have never eaten
- Maria KJanuary 29, 2017Extensive beer selection, comfy booths. Can get crowded but it's a good time. Nice bartenders.
- William StudartApril 1, 2016Great bar. The bartender Kendra did awesome drinks and was very polite and talkative. Very good atmosphere
- Andrew CApril 24, 2017Solid brunch drinks and food... Sat upstairs on roof (bar and TVs up here are nice touch), but service was unbelievably slow and staff looked miserable/unhappy
- Chelsea Starr AlexanderJuly 12, 2013Great rooftop that is hopping and beer garden like, but easy to get a table! Love this place!

- Tara DeVincenzoAugust 30, 2015bottomless brunch + Victoria the nicest most adorable curly haired waitress = wonderful rooftop experience
- The rooftop is awesome and the beer list is surprisingly top tier for NYC.
- Surprisingly solid neighborhood bar. Good beer, strong cocktails, and good bar bites. Seems more scene-y than it is.

- Brendan LewisAugust 14, 2015Be sure to get there early and snag a roof seat. They go reservation-only after 6:00pm

- Stephanie TackachSeptember 15, 2013bartender only serves the men first & if you say something about it, she will tell the manager & have u thrown out. I was waiting 10 mins for a drink & she served men immediately when they walked in.
- Bill O'LearyOctober 22, 2014The roooftop is great. Not loud (and hot) like the two downstairs floors.
