Beautiful atmosphere and stage. Perfect for lesser known musicians and for smaller tours. Cheap/decently priced tickets, large enough space for a big audience despite being a smaller venue than most.

The venue's floor is sloped, so if you tend to be the shorter stock in the crowd, position yourself by the balcony pillars in the back. You get an unparalleled view, second only to the balcony. ;o)

Love this venue! Perfect size and draws a wide variety of talent. Tip: drink next door bc this place is crazy expensive, grab cash before you get there, and go for barstool overlooking the stage!

Create everlasting memories! One of the best venues to attend. Cozy and right in the heart of South Street, the TLA is a great spot for a great night out in Philadelphia. Check out the lineup!

Great to see a show. Drinks are very expensive. Stop @ the boiler room next store and gave a few drinks and a bite to eat before the show. Then hit up Jims steaks after.

I saw Kimbra here and had a fantastic time! I stood in the upper level, but you can be just about anywhere and see the bands clearly! Awesome setup!

Big enough to not feel crowded for a sizable crowd, and still intimate enough to feel connected to the performer

$4 water bottles. Aside from the outrageous water price I love this place! I can always get up close and personal with my favorite bands

the drinks were crazy expensive, but wherever you are positioned in the venue there is about a 95% chance that you can see the band pretty close up! I feel like it is totally worth a trip.

Pretty near venue! Bar is a little slow and drinks are pretty expensive but the balcony was an awesome place to watch a concert.

Giant old chandeliers droop from the ceiling of this grungy venue. Originally a movie house, the floors are sloped, so if you want a good view of the band, see ‘em here.

Drink at the bar next to the venue. They had bottles of Miller High Life tonight for $1. Inside the venue they were selling 16oz cans of High Life for $5.

If you want slightly cheaper beer, arrange to have a case airlifted from Germany and helicoptered from the airport from there.

If a band you like is playing here, get a ticket. Sound is great and the venue is just the right size. Drinks are overpriced but the staff is great and don't skimp on mixed drinks.

Coat check only holds the first 150 coats. If the show is sold out, dont expect to come 2 hours late and be able to check your coat.

Got banned from upstairs by a douchey bouncer who threatened to cut our bracelets and eventually wrote X on our hands with a marker so we couldn't go back up. Show was better up close anyway.
