Go to the Breslin Bar and Dining Room at the Ace Hotel. No reservations for 130 seats, but great lobby bar with red comfy couches and beautiful people (male & female). 1/2 gastropub, 1/2 restaurant Read more

no one should die without having the lamb burger -- the fries that come with it are amazing as well. also: the lust for life cocktail is divine. not too sweet but sweet enough.

The Breslin is awesome, but I'm a fan of the Ace Hotel lounge next door. While dining at the Breslin, ask the hostess to check for the next avail lounge spot (1st come/serve) for after dins cocktails

The frittata is the only thing to get at breakfast...and the lamb burger is the best dinner or lunch possible.

The Lamb burger and fries is definitely top notch, but don't discount the rest of the menu which is equally as good. Split the burger with someone so you can try lots of other things too.

Great decor & atmosphere. Food choices and execution were average. Some hits and some misses. Waited 45 minutes between appetizers & mains during which no one came to check up on us. We won’t be back.

This is the place to tweet and be seen. Their meaty lunch menu includes terrines, ham, sea bass and steak, but the most popular entree is the lamb burger ($17). Read more

Food is delicious but expect a wait to be seated regardless of table availability. Sitting at the bar might your better option.

walk in, walk straight up the stairs. don't worry about "leaving your name": hang by the upstairs bar, have them pull you cask ale (hand pump!) and then snag a seat at the opportune moment.

Stuffed pig's feet is delicious, filling, and great depth of flavor but is also a study in ultra heavy handed salting, like most plates there. Drinks lots of water, or better yet, beer.
