- One of my favourite pubs in London. A small pub with a big heart. Well chosen ales on draught & in bottles. Brilliant wine and spirit selection should you feel inclined too. Oh and the food is ace!
- Marc FrostOctober 2, 2017Great beer selection for a smaller pub thats a little off of the beaten track. Always a good cider or 2, a lager or 2 and a couple great ales - even some pretty good food :)
- Pliyo SenpaiMarch 15, 2015I had here one of the besf dinner I ever had since I moved to London. Goat cheese, 4 cheese tart and posset were an explosion of flavours. I'll definetly be back
- Rachel MercerJune 10, 2015Difficult to find good seating at times, but definitely come here for lunch or dinner - the food is sublime, as is their beer selection.
- The best pub in the area. Awesome bar snacks, good beer, lovely atmosphere although it can get busy. Look out for the fantastic maps in the dining room!
- Harry RobertsNovember 29, 2014Great pub with good a variety of beers. The service was great, and the scotch egg was delicious!
- LondonistMarch 4, 2012The second best pub in Angel according to our recent poll. The superior sausage roll and preponderance of London maps tempt us into declaring it the best.
- Glenfiddich Mark .February 23, 2012Good selection of not just ale on draft, but also bottled. A wee local with a big heart (and great hand soap in the loos!)
- Matteo MucciApril 29, 2013Cozy English pub where you can share your meal with smart couples and group of new friends.
- Gen JensonDecember 31, 2015Great craft beer selection, topped off with a packet of bacon fries. Perfect.
- Amazing atmosphere and lovely, cosy interior. It's a shame that food is really overpriced though.
- LopiteauxOctober 14, 2013Good food and very relaxed atmosphere. The wine list leaves something to be desired though...
- The best pub in Angel - and there are a lot of pubs in Angel. Great food, a pleasing selection of maps, good beers and right cosy. Read more
- Ask the staff about the guest ales, they really know their stuff and the beer is brilliant
- Sunday summer evenings here. Shhh, don't tell too many people please.
