I was there when all of a sudden the cast of RHWONJ strolled in to have some drink's, they were pretty cool like normal people, I got to meet some of them, it made my night a wonderful experiance.....
The food is absolutely delicious, have not had a bad dish yet - miso cod dish and brussels sprout salad are my favorite. The s'more at the end = nice touch. Also recommend the six hats cabernet.
Restaurant &cocktail lounge that channels the spirit of Virginia Woolf. Lovely space, lighted largely by candles, vibrant & nearly all-girl bar scene (owners are out and proud lesbians) downstairs.
Thursday is proper 'girl's' night though every night you'll find a largely lesbian clientele. A nice change of pace from other girl bars, though if you want to grab a seat downstairs- come before 11pm
Pro: The Dalloway Colada is pretty good. Con: It's Sunday & thus Happy Hour all day. But, the bartender charged me $10 for a $9 drink. And gave me 1 slider burger when it was pluralized on the menu.
Atmosphere is nice. Plates are tiny....but it's not tapas, it's "Nuevo American". Guess that means bite sized food, literally. Food is good though and service is good.
Fun for drinks but don't come for dinner - "tapas" portions are tiny, not appropriate for sharing. $14 for 1.5 cubic inches of fried chicken! Less than 1/4 a breast - Not even half a meal for 1 :(
returned both dishes ordered. The mini burgers came w/o fried eggs, the "huevos rancheros" came w/ horribly over cooked fried eggs. the servers lacked personality, manager decent. Brunch fail overall.
