came here with a friend and a great time chatting at the bar. I don't come to Greenpoint often, but this place has a great setup, a fun/chill vibe and is cheap (but not in a dive-y way).
Boasting one of Greenpoint’s most extensive beer selections, The Diamond is renowned for it’s ‘extra-curricular’ activities such as shuffleboard and darts in a chilled, unpretentious atmosphere. Read more
A great place to grab a beer and sit outdoors when it's nice out. Try to snag a seat in the old gondola they have in the back for a unique drinking experience!
Not only does this Greenpoint bar have a lovely backyard, complete with a gondola repurposed for seating, but it also offers plenty of session beers with an ABV of 5 percent or less. Read more
Great bartenders and drink selection. The backyard is great in the summertime and they sell hot dogs out there sometimes. Try the boiled peanuts and play shuffleboard.
If the free shuffleboard, excellent jukebox, sweet murals and ample outdoor seating doesn't do it for you, how about the fucking gondola. Also: a hard-as-hell, horseshoe-esque game called Quoits.
Enjoy some great craft beer here (including one on cask), play a game of shuffleboard, then head to the backyard to sip beer in the old gondola car from Gore Mountain!
Whoever designed this place should receive some sort of award. Unorthodox windows, shuffleboard, neat art, well displayed tap list, and mountain gondola car. Huzzah!
Greenpoint's gourmet beer bar where you'll get that rare cask ale of which only four barrels were ever made and only one ever made it to the US. (Sign up for the newsletter and you'll understand)
Quoits are rural Pennsylvanian garage game based on the allegory that drinking games are fun. Just mind your ankles, your partner isn't as good as you think they are.
