- In all honesty, it’s chocked filled with sooo many delicious items on the vast menu. Every night there are different specials so just ask Andreas for his recommendation. I love the Dish!!!
- LogoTVAugust 30, 2010My favorite place to eat! It's like the gay Cheers. The atomosphere is so inviting and the home cooking is just like Mom's (if she could cook, I mean). - Mike Ruiz, The A-List: New York
- Any time of the day or of the year, this place rocks!!! Just had dinner and drinks after PRIDE and there is no place I'd rather be. Love and thanks to Andreas, Alex and Antonio 👍🏻❤️🤗
- Christy SmithJuly 18, 2018Great unpretentious classic breakfast options, service was fast and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy.
- Everything...start with the hummus and then anything that follows is a treat!!! Don't forget to say hi to Antonio the bartender, Alex the server and Andreas, manager extraordinaire.
- Honestly- it's my favorite restaurant in NYC. They know my name, they remember my favorite Bfast... I've lived in Chelsea for 10 years and couldn't imagine my life here w/o The Dish. It's my kitchen.
- Mike NickersonDecember 19, 2016Extremely affordable Chelsea restaurant with no designated cuisine but hugely diverse menu! Great as takeout or a quick sit-down.
- Justin FerrantiJanuary 2, 2017Better for takeout than to eat in. Very diverse menu (sushi, quesadillas, pasta) but I'd recommend sticking with the sandwiches/wraps or italian options.
- Great place to dine and relax in Chelsea. Been going there every Saturday night for over 12 years!!!
- Come in anytime, but in the evening ask for Andreas...he will take care of you. Then ask for Alex or Antonio and you're in business.
- Theresa RoldanApril 3, 2016Was shockingly very satisfied with the food, drinks, and service! Our waiter was very attentive but not in an annoying way, and I ate every bite of my omelet.
- Great food. Super friendly owner and staff. Been going for since they opened 97-98
- Daniel L.June 21, 2010blackened chicken pasta w/ penne al freddo and sun dried tomatoes (not on the menu, but you can create it) is awesome! Don't be overwhelmed by the 'dictionary' of a menu.
- I eat here all the time. Best food value in New York. Best atmosphere. Andreus is a doll. They treat you like family. :)
- A EspinosaApril 21, 2013Get the table by the window to see some of the happenings on the street while waiting for your order.
- try the steak salad MR... it's pretty damn good... don't worry about too much dressing bc the juicy steak will dress it enough
- David M.December 29, 2010Yummy and cheap, big menu! Every time I come here there's a lot of food for the money! Service is very friendly for everybody.
- My partner and I get a bowl of soup each then split the meal because of portion size. Great place!
- Danika LandersApril 28, 2013Lots to select from on the menu which is nice, especially for a group. The feta spinach tomato omelet was just ok. Needed lots of salt and ketchup to give it any flavor. :/
- Ask to be seated on the 2nd floor and ask for Dionisio. BEST WAITER EVER HANDS DOWN.
- great value for what you pay... always leave nourished and full
- This used to be such a great neighborhood joint. No mas. Food & service have declined over the years. Bummer.
- Joel RudzinskiSeptember 28, 2011The wait staff is definitely not happy being here and doesn't listen when you order. Lovely.
- You must try the "Ultimate Dutch Treat" drink, trully a treat, but dangerous if having more than one! :)
- ... ask for a table upstairs (feels like a private dining room) ...
- Stick with the basics. Don't order anything with rice (it's overcooked). Prices are way high for the food. But that's a Manhattan diner for you.
- Skip the chicken quesadilla grande special. It's a skimpy plate.
