- Edward SchellAugust 16, 2013Once you get to know the bartenders the drinks on the bar as soon as you sit down even if it's crowded they make you feel like a VIP
- Travel + LeisureJanuary 30, 2013Bring your quarters. At the upstairs gaming room, you can race mechanized horses on one of the few remaining Sigma Derby tables, or plunk your change into retro one-armed bandits.
- Ask for an odd-numbered room of you want to sleep (in Vegas?); even-numbered rooms are directly above Fremont Street main stage.
- Fernando IamamotoJune 5, 2018The best one ever.. I really loved the hotel and the location. I strong recommend it.
- If you don't mind relying on the elevator to get to your room, the top floor views are amazing.
- Peter FasanoAugust 4, 2017Rooms are suited to the price and recently renovated — clean but not fancy. Gym is small but in great shape. Only downside is the Freeman Street noise that was very loud on the 15th floor.
- They've got a special going in the cafe right now with rib and lobster dishes. Now get this - amongst the sauce options is South Carolina BBQ. Yup, I'ma be eatin some mustard-based ribbity goodness!
- Peter VJuly 26, 2015Cheap rooms. Centrally located on the Fremont Street Experience. Get a room up high to avoid Fremont noise when trying to sleep.
- Blair HApril 1, 2023Sigma Derby is really fun. It’s the last machine left. Each race has different odds. Bets are $0.25 each. More fun if you name them (I’m told #3 is named White Lightening).
- Enter your floor before you get on the elevator. It's the only way they can move guests on 34 floors with only 6 elevators.
- One of 2 Sigma Derby games in Vegas and the only one downtown. Check it out! They even have staff with rolls of quarters at the table so you don't have to search.
- The D Las Vegas Casino HotelApril 10, 2013Thanks to the Las Vegas Review-Journal Editors for naming us Best Downtown Hotel in Best of Las Vegas Awards! Read the full article and see our fellow winners! Read more
- Dy-Anne WMay 17, 2015Love this place for gambling because they still have some actual coin based machines. Authentic experience.
- You can tip the dancing dealers when they're dancing?!?!? Dolla dolla bills y'all! Get those dollas out!!!

- The D Las Vegas Casino HotelApril 18, 2013Check out our Italian Steakhouse, Andiamo, that was featured in the latest issue of Las Vegas Magazine!
- Johnny PremierOctober 5, 2013My favorite place in Vegas, period, as well as my local hangout as I live downtown. Recommend highly
- Great hotel. They accommodated us when the other hotel lost our Reservations. Great staff
- They have a functional and beautiful Sigma Derby machine. That alone is worth the visit!
- Laurency WyattJune 30, 2021This is a great location. Love stepping out right onto the Fremont experience.
- The D Grill is worth it. Great food, you just need to be a bit patient as its all cooked fresh.
- Darrell ReinholdJune 22, 2016Nice facility. Rooms are nice and clean and the entire staff is very friendly.
- If you're looking for a place downtown rather than the Strip, it's ok. The rooms are outdated and don't have much in the way of outlets. The bathrooms are nice. It can be noisy due to Fremont St.
- Carie SmallMay 30, 2016I always park here when I'm going anywhere in Downtown Las Vegas. Most convenient.
- cj pendleyNovember 7, 2011Cocktail service was VERY slow tonight. I tried my tried and true method if tipping big on the first round, hoping that would bring her around quickly. Nope, haven't seen her around once since then.
- Dealers and dancers are hot! And they are in lingerie outfits. Great atmosphere while you gamble!
- Ryan MJuly 6, 2013Representing the D (Detroit, MI)...OK, so they have an American Coney Island....other than that, just like every other damn casino I have seen!
- @LVSellsJuly 11, 2013Was my favorite staycation place as The Fitz- and the upgrades & renovation have certainly not changed that.
- Nick ThompsonJuly 1, 2013One of my favorite Casinos in vegas - the girls are pretty and great dancers!
- Andrew CarrollJuly 3, 2012Nickel-Mania slots are a ton of fun!! Playing with real coins is 10 times more fun than with a print out ticket!!
- new owner new look this guy knows how to party he really did a good job with the D its a good time
- Nice place for a downtown casino/hotel. Prices nice. Of age young, go to the strip though.
- Heidi LynnJuly 6, 2014Originally reserved a non-smoking room but since we checked in late they didn't have any more available. They discounted resort fee $25 for us. Every time someone smoked, smell was stronger.
- Leslie KAugust 26, 2011Neat view from the top of the parking structure. Will need to consider it for a sunrise on my next outing!
- Brendan NeeJuly 30, 2012Go upstairs and race mechanical horses in the old timey Sigma Derby game. It only take quarters
- Joe TSeptember 30, 2013Nice remodel. I still have my Fitzgerald players club for here. Love the old school games.
- Mike DoriaNovember 3, 2012Did you know that "Longbar" is the longest bar in Nevada? Stop by and have a drink.
- Stephen VadasFebruary 17, 2013At the bar they had video poker with 10 to 1 pay for full house! Aka fantastic!
- Mary MurrayJune 10, 2014Don't bother...the room rates are cheap but they make up for it with a $22.00/night/person resort fee. You get nothing for paying it. Stay at the Fremont instead, I wish I had.
