"Andrew Carmellini's elegant two-tiered Sullivan Platter ($75) is full of oysters, little necks, sweet shrimp, uni, sea scallops, and ceviche. But for those craving more (hint: two dozen oysters)..." Read more
Really cool place and food was good, but I wouldn't recommend the burger because it was super greasy and messy to eat. Try the waffles or the pancakes.
Great atmosphere. Noisy, trendy but neither detracts from the culinary experience; food is executed excellently. It's a perfect spot for a date or a small group.
The menu features a rather impressive oyster and raw bar selection, as well as classically inspired American dishes, like shrimp with red remoulade, pecanduck with celery and organicdirty rice. Read more
Not as compelling as it used to be when they served an amazing halibut, and the Asian white boy ribs. Still well worth a visit though. Baked oysters stole the show.
Oystersandwich (slider) is stellar! Honey butterbiscuits that come w/ fried chicken is the real deal. Pecanduck w/ dirty rice is my new fave meal! If there's coconut cream pie-- get it.
Our good friend did the branding for this new place. It's crowded after work but if you can find a seat or area to hang at the bar, they make a pretty mean dirty martini and the food is good. -Diana
Andrew Carmellini’s Thanksgiving menu provides the ultimate recipe for food coma w/ a roasted turkey wrapped in bacon with mashed potatoes, horseradish-roasted Brussels sprouts & honey glazed squash.
Amazing grilled tuna, definitely a winner but the scallops werent too far behind! Also try the burrata with figs and the shrimp appetizers. Service from our waitress could have been a bit better.
Try the little oyster sandwiches and then for a perfect match try the sea scallops. If you are a brave dude the white russianice cream will make this meal unforgettable!
The industrial vibe at this hot spot was conceived by NY-based design team Roman & Williams. We love how the high-gloss ceiling paint bounces light from the chandeliers—illuminating the entire space.
The shrimp and kimchi fried fried rice is a nice change of pace on the brunch menu in concept, but unfortunately the kimchi was far too salty. The eggs are still perfect, and almost save the dish.
From Sam Sifton of the NYT: Eat a tiny fried oystersandwich, a bite of steak tartare, a dish of smoked chicken and mushroom stroganoff. Have a steak and some raw oysters
