Sue is 66 million years old and has been owned by the Field since 1997.

They used to give all teachers free admission. Not anymore. If you're from out of state, don't bother with your ID. So much for one of the only generous side benefits of being a teacher.

Some cases in the dioramas had weird labels and the IMAX was not really an IMAX. But the exhibits were cool.

The Crown Family PlayLab is open Thursday through Monday from 10 AM to 4 PM, last admission is at 3 PM.

Skip the Undergound Adventure -- my 11 & 13 year-old daughters didn't like it - neither did we. Ancient Egypt is where it's at. Onsite food choice is limited to McDonalds, vending machines, & a bakery
