- Veyote DaeganMarch 15, 2015The balcony has a killer view if you're not one to dance. Don't forget your earplugs!Upvoted Nov 17
- The Corcoran GroupDecember 18, 2011The acoustics and the headliners here are fantastic! Look up at the amazing ceiling – it might distract you from what’s on stage. Bathrooms and coat check are downstairs.
- Gabriel HayesJanuary 18, 2016Went here for the Ratatat show. Awesome acoustics, lasers, lighting and smoke machines. One of the best venues for this type of show.
- JD MaloneSeptember 9, 2017Very spacious venue for those who like to dance to the show otherwise the balcony seats are a must at least once as the surroundings are amazing.
- Gordon MeiJune 25, 2014If you're here for live music, grab a beer before beelining to the front of the floor area by the stage. It will be a long walk through the crowd otherwise.
- Adrienne PetrinoNovember 18, 2014Good acoustics! If you sit in the mezzanine section and you are short, do not sit in rows C, E, G, I, K.. Etc
- CompassApril 25, 2014Fresco angels and multiple balconies date back to 1906, but perfomances by present-day stars include Beyonce, The Metropolitan Opera, Leonard Bernstein, and more.
- This venue is beautiful. The design is impeccable, and the sound is great too. I've seen some incredible shows here.
- Cole KennedySeptember 14, 2019I do not like it when bands I like play shows here because it straight up feels like one of those big mega churches (which also, it is).
- Gabriel HayesAugust 6, 2015Great place to see a rap show. Saw Childish Gambino here and had a great time.
- Thomas TaylorMarch 19, 2016Better than T5 but that's a huge endorsement! Bars have long lines and the acoustics are poor on the floor unless you get up front and close to the action.
- Christopher FredaNovember 1, 2021Great place to see a show, near Penn Station and tons of restaurants.
- Amber TsaiSeptember 16, 2014Beautiful venue. Make sure you get standing admission though if you want room to dance !
- Jennifer GoriOctober 21, 2014
- CMJAugust 29, 2012The Decemberists played a packed show for CMJ at the 2006 Music Marathon in this venue, which first opened its doors back in 1906.
- Aaron BatchelderJuly 7, 2016Concert was great but the seats were HORRIBLE! As in they were super uncomfortable. I guess you don't go to a concert to sit, but it's still worth noting.
- The Infinite ZooApril 19, 2014A beautiful venue! Get there extremely early if you want to be front row.
- Concert Ticket AgencyAugust 25, 2012The best sound in this former opera house is about seven rows back in the first mezzanine.

- Paul BaydaApril 10, 2015Your system fucking sux. You got iPads to check your shit in but still rely on cash??? Fuck your atm machines with $4 charge. You suck and I hope your business will die very soon.
- PaigeMarch 23, 2015This place sucks!Asked for an upgrade in seating.Said they are sold out.Which is bullshit b/c I'm looking at tons of empty seats in the balconies.Avoid this venue at all costs. So not accommodating!
- Conor ClancyJune 16, 2010Experience live music! Terrific place to see a concert. Very intimate venue.
- Jacki StrumMay 3, 2012Over 35 NY restaurants and 70 wineries pouring - sounds like a recipe for a good night out.
