- Cozy, local spot. Fireplace for winter, garden for summer. They do magical things with seasonal ingredients in the small kitchen, but they do run out of dishes so get your orders in quick!
- ElifDecember 16, 2015Very nice for meetings, not noisy as pubs. We had great time, hear each other. Mica atmosphere. Homemade bread is really good. Steak and especially fries are very good.
- Corinna PJuly 7, 2014Open for lunch and dinner. Menu seems to change daily, all of it sounded great. Delicious chicken and truffled lentil salad.
- Magdaline DilesSeptember 28, 2015Amazing food. Fabulous locations. Been 3 times and left with a smile and a happy belly.
- One of my favourite local pubs. The homemade bread is breathtaking!
- Jared ChurchJune 28, 2011Great selection of beer, food was quite above average, and somewhat lively for a Tuesday night. Could use some music, but a great place to start the night!
- Bavette steak is a must. Say hi to James, head chef and he may part with something a little special for you to eat
- Best pub around, especially since The Bird in Hand shut. Fantastic food and a good selection of tipple.
- They start serving food from 7pm on Saturdays. And of course amazing steak :)
- Fantastic food. A real gem of a place. Highly recommended.
- Beth AppletonNovember 18, 2010Lovely pub for a pre meet quiet moment. Great staff and easy access wifi to get on with a bit of Internet stuff

- Sticky toffee pudding is euphoric. You will be scraping the plate.
- Mark LainasOctober 24, 2010On paper it sounds good but they ran out of roast at 1pm on Sunday! And now they won't serve us cheese with our wine because the kitchen is closed. How much cooking is involved in plating cheese?
