The House is possibly the most aptly named restaurant in New York seeing as it's a refurbished 1854 carriage house. It's a welcome step back in time, which fits perfectly with a lazy Sunday morning. Read more

One of the most gorgeous settings we've experienced. This restored carriage house makes for a very romantic place to take a date. The food is delicious, as are the drinks.

Cozy restaurant in a restored 1850s house. I recommend sharing since the food is delicious, but also rich. Would come back for the lasagna. Lasagna, scallops, burger, and the Sundae pictured below

Legitimately the best lasagna I've ever had. The the mac n' cheese needs to be shared (very rich) and the burger is also AWESOME. Romantic and charming. Great date spot.

Very cozy vibe, total date spot. Braised mushrooms were a fav, octopus was cooked perfectly. Service is a bit overwhelming. They watch you like a hawk & it feels a bit rushed.

The restaurant began serving lunch in October. Several dishes stand out for attention to detail and covert healthfulness, such as the must-have hamachi crudo. Read more

Beautifully restored 1854 carriage house. Choose from fireside dining on parlor level, a table on the second floor with a view of Gramercy Park, or a cozy spot at the Chef's Table in the wine cellar.
