- Vic McGinMay 2, 2015Gigs! Don't gather on the stairs like the rest of the fools, get up the left of the stage and get a great view and breathing room. Rough trade pub quiz on Mondays is a hoot.Upvoted 3 weeks ago
- Evan BartlettFebruary 4, 2013Great bourbon selection. They had Van Winkle 20 year, and George T Staggs at alomst 15£, but they also had Blanton's and Bulleit for 3£
- Sebastian MetzgerJanuary 1, 2015We went there randomly to watch a indie rock concert. Entry fee was reasonable at 8£ for three local somewhat famous bands. Recommended if you are into checking out the London underground rock scene.
- Ministry of WaxingSeptember 23, 2013A London music stalwart, The Lexington has in the past played host to bands such as Foals and Peace. It also stocks a fantastic range of craft beers and hosts a regular quiz night by Rough Trade.
- TastebudsAugust 20, 2013Venue promoter known for booking soon-to-be-big bands early on - and there's a weekly music quiz run by Rough Trade East every Monday too. Multi-pack of crisps for the best team name. Nik Naks please.
- Rob DysonSeptember 2, 2014Fantastic, intimate & lively live music venue upstairs. Great sound. FYI if you're eating in the pub downstairs, avoid the taxidermy corner. It smells of damp dog & puts you off your food.
- Great venue for live music upstairs and nice bar downstairs.
- The GuardianApril 25, 2012"A curious mix of American-style lounge bar and old English pub... the downstairs area is relaxed and luxurious, the upstairs room sweaty, heaving and generally well lubricated..." Read more

- Person 5November 22, 2016Cool bar downstairs, intimate music venue upstairs. Check out the gig listings and club nights.
- Mag WalczakApril 23, 2016Book a table if you like to seat down. Security guy is not the most polite person in the world. Personally I didn't enjoy the place because of crowd but pies are definitely worth trying !
- Rough Trade music pub quiz every Monday. Don't worry if your musical knowledge is poor; you can still win crisps for the best team name
- Kevin McCulleyJuly 25, 2015Nice cozy music venue upstairs, though like most rock clubs gets a bit sweaty once the gigs get going.
- Pay £5 and ask for their secret jar potion. If you're brave enough take a long sip!
- Michaela WatkinsonMarch 19, 2017Cosy rock pub with a friendly atmosphere. They put on lots of gigs here.
- TheBigGayAlMay 11, 2015Very eclectic mix of live music upstairs. Great range of American beers downstairs.
- One of my favourite venues in London, nice downstairs pub too. Avoid the camden hells, £4.50!

- Edward HerbertAugust 25, 2014Good for bands and a relatively chilled out atmosphere. Not bad for another out on the weekend.
- Marcus HarrisOctober 27, 2010weekday lunch is half price, friday is the flagship indie disco, white light, and try the hirsch bourbon before it goes extinct, pricey but almost life affirming!
- Of the the 4 Bourbons I've tried, the Eagle Rare 10 (single barrel) followed by the Weller 12.
- The food is best avoided, but the drinks are plentiful & well selected!
