    Hidden gem on Upper West Side with American/Mediterranean cuisine. Chicken, risotto, and codfish all delicious. Beautiful high ceilings and old fashioned decor.

    fairly standard American fare, but good flavors and cooked well. Definitely complement your meal with apps; go for octopus and hamachi crudo, great mix of hot and cold to warm up your meal 😉

    The Berkshire pork chop was moist and delicious. It reminded me of a great steak. I'm leaving this tip bc I want you to go there, order it, so this place stays in business and I can get it whenever.

    dramatic Main Dining seats 130 or 200 for receptions; within the rm is 40-seat semiprivate area called the Fireplace. private Endicott Rm seats 24 or 35 for recep, and the Tavern holds 65 for recep.

    Aside from having to wait for no real reason (We had a reservation), our meals were great and you certainly don't feel like you're sitting in the laps of the people next to you.

    The food here is excellent, especially the salmon. The dining room is dimly lit making the menus a challenge to read but that's ok because everything else about this place is great.
