- Ray FossNovember 10, 2015They have very good BBQ Tofu plates, tamales, and chips. The decor is little cheesy, but overall it's a great place. If you're into fresh hot sauces, ask for the spice shuttle.
- Caitlin LawlerJune 28, 2016Great food and margaritas with excellent service every time I've been. Very small so can get full fast, but it's nice to just get drinks at the bar with chips and salsa or guacamole
- The staple - 3 chicken hard tacos, black beans, white rice, medium salsa. Never pass on the soup special - it's their specialty.
- Sharon (MsJiff)March 15, 2014Now that I've tried the food, this is already one of my favorite restaurants here in Syracuse! Also loving the Breckenridge agave wheat ale. Yum!
- Crystal FerreiroMay 16, 2016The steak nachos are everything in this world! But also the quesadillas are always fire. The sangria is watered down, don't recommend it.
- Ray FossOctober 3, 2015They've added a BBQ tofu burrito to their Vegan offerings. Their fajitas with zucchini and spices aren't half bad. Pro tip: Ask for the "Spice Shuttle"
- Get a carafe of sangria and the queso fundido with chorizo and you won't be disappointed. The entrees are just okay though. Beautiful place!
- If I had just a little bit less self-respect, I'd order a large thing of their guacamole and just eat it with a spoon. That would be my dinner. AND IT WOULD BE HEAVEN.
- Michael KapalaFebruary 4, 2016Great food and great service! Good brews on tap too. Definitely worth a visit.
- Dave SilverstoneJanuary 28, 2012Located in an old historic church, stained glass windows intact, The Mission features the best Mexican in the area, in a charming venue!
- Rachel GruberJanuary 20, 2011Margaritas are salty but good. The guacamole is delicious. But make sure you go early or late on a weekend night -- they don't take reservations and the wait is always long!
- Went there for dinner, usually it's very good food & service. Last night our service was very slow, waited 30 mins for soup, salmon salad & clams. It wasn't busy either. Off night, maybe?
- Benjamin SchechterFebruary 28, 2013Make sure to hit up The Mission on Fridays when the special is a shrimp & scallop burrito.
- KateNovember 7, 2011ask for the peppers and hot sauces condiments tray, they don't bring it right away, but it's great for people who like heat!
- Always ask for the soup. And if it's good ... when it's good—fill your mouth with it.
- JenKuduJuly 28, 2013The queso fundido esta muy bueno! Have them add crumbled chorizo for an extra kick!
- Put everything on the menu in your mouth. Your tastebuds will be very thankful. You're welcome.
- Mike SmithJune 15, 2013Fish tacos were great and so is the guacamole. Not a fan of the wine margaritas tho.
- Sharon (MsJiff)March 15, 2014Inside is gorgeous, and it smells heavenly. Can't wait to try the food.
- Diane ConwayAugust 27, 2017Good service, nice ambience, great guac. However, the food was a tad salty.
- Cory BrownMarch 30, 2014The fish tacos weren't bad, little over done, and the pato de blue was unique.
- Lu LeszinskyAugust 20, 2011The chicken anticucho with chimichurri, black beans, rice and orange slices is the best!

- Hannah WarrenDecember 19, 2014After reading all the positive reviews on YellowPages, I was really excited to finally try The Mission. But service was mediocre and food was only ok for the price. I probably won't go back again.
- ClaireSeptember 2, 2014Was not impressed. Got our drink order after our food arrived. Server was very anxious and rushed us out before a large table was seated. No music, but well decorated
- Stand a couple feet from the urinal. Youre in the splash zone
- fernando alfonsoJanuary 20, 2010Lunch is very affordable and a lot less crowded than dinner time. Great food, great atmosphere.
www.eastcoastpaperboy.com Read more - maren guseFebruary 16, 2011The usual - white wine margarita on the rocks, queso fundido, and the veggie burrito!
- Ask for the hot sauces. The pickled serranos are worth a visit.
- Harrison OtterbeinJuly 18, 2013Worst service downtown, waited close to an hour for a quassadilla, it was okay, nothing special, don't go during a lunch break. The people next to us said they waited an hour for take out.
- Barbara ElizabethMay 19, 2013Margaritas are not house made! They use a mix, and it is awful. Just get a beer or wine. No full fledged liquor license here. Beware.
