- Adrienne PetrinoJuly 2, 2012One of the best items on their brunch menus.... Fried poached eggs with chorizo stew.. It is mouth watering goodness.. Wished I could go into the kitchen & have them show me to deep fry a poached egg!
- Adrian PhillipsAugust 23, 2015Another New York favorite of mine. No reservations, put your name in & if it's a long wait go get a drink at the Rusty Knot. The steak, scallops, pork belly dishes I've had here have been amazing.
- Julie SosciaFebruary 8, 2019The most popular dish here is the burger with Roquefort and shoestring fries. To get the full experience and not miss out on the burger opt to split it and experiment with the small plates!
- EpicuriousNovember 21, 2014Try the delicate ricotta dumplings splashed with vibrant pesto, & the rest of the inventive menu of upscale pub grub. Wash it all down with a pint of one of the hand-drawn house ales. Read more
- Amanda HamiltonSeptember 3, 2017Cozy village spot. 2 hours of beautiful cocktails waiting for a table lead to fresh liver toast and the most delicious Ricotta gnudi, definitely the highlight. Burger also beautiful.
- Paula BuzzoNovember 14, 2018We came for the famous burger w/ roquefort cheese, which is a little bit salty for me and the potatoes are good, but a messy to eat. Don't forget to order the banoffee, it's amazing.
- Emily WilsonAugust 13, 2015I absolutely love the cozy-kitschy vibe and everything there is to eat. Best ever: chicken liver toast, gnudi, burger, vegetable plate... I could go on, but you'll want to save room for dessert.
- Staff PicksNovember 14, 2014New to the menu is a soup with pancetta & sage: roasted pumpkins with chicken stock, pancetta, & barley; mashed (instead of pureeing); and seasoned with Parmesan, olive oil, sage, and parsley. Read more
- Nick TurbideMay 7, 2017If you could love just one restaurant, I choose the pig. Varied spaces, the tight squeeze into your seat, the excellent snacks and mains, good cocktails, serviceable wines and dreamy liver toasts. Go!
- joahnnaJuly 28, 2015I really enjoyed the ricotta gnudi but it's quite rich and heavy. The Roquefort burger definitely lives up to the hype and the fries are great to munch on.
- Nisa GOctober 16, 2014Totally worth the wait. Gnudis were amazing as starters, and the burgers are out of this world, with the thin fries! Enjoy one of the draught beers at the bar while waiting for your table.
- Best hamburger in the city, must order it! Go during the week to avoid crowds. Nevertheless there is always place at the bar. Just love this place.
- Bitches Who BrunchOctober 16, 2015The Bitches say A-. For a place full of character that serves extraordinary English fare and will make you feel like you’re celebrating something special, even for a status quo brunch. Read more
- Diego MorenoJanuary 21, 2015Everything is spectacular, gnucci, devil eggs, etc. I must say that the hamburguer isn't the best dish, the dishes with pig are incredible (I try some sort of pork rinds and was the best of all)
- Sacha SJuly 14, 2017I'm not recommending it for the food but for the cocktails, the atmosphere and the very unique interior design. It is a quaint little spot. Get their burger and fries! The starters are good too.
- Serious EatsApril 22, 2013Grilled Cheese: It's made on filone from Sullivan Street Bakery; Fontina, Taleggio, and goat cheese melt into a single fresh, funky core, hot and molten against the crunch of the bread.
- Village VoiceApril 9, 2015The Spotted Pig burger is a generously fatted bundle of beef, expertly char-grilled, showered in funky Roquefort blue & sandwiched between a cross-charred brioche. Crispy shoestring fries on the side.
- Jan UnoOctober 27, 2016Great atmosphere and nice surroundings. You can't book, but they are really good at getting you a table within a short while. Their pumpkin soup is next to nothing.
- Lori LuoAugust 10, 2014This bustling gastropub is perpetually busy, so be prepared to wait to try the excellent deviled eggs or the Spotted Pig Burger, topped with Roquefort cheese between two brioche buns.
- Nick El-TawilMarch 21, 2018Pro tip: head up to the second floor and eat at the bar while the suckers downstairs wait 2 hours for a table. You will NOT be disappointed with the food!
- New York PostMarch 1, 2015After over a decade, it’s hard to beat April Bloomfield’s chargrilled burger topped with Roquefort cheese and nothing else. Save room for the shoestring fries flecked with garlic slivers and rosemary. Read more
- Guy FlamentMarch 26, 2016A one star restaurant in Greenwitch, with a very distinctive atmosphere. The food is creative but inspired by Italy. Cool and caring service. You Will enjoy your meal there.
- SparkieOctober 3, 2014West Village Gastropub, There's a reason why everyone from Jay-Z to Greenwich Street locals love The Spotted Pig: there's three floors filled with lively crowds, arguably the burger
- Halstead PropertyOctober 7, 2013A toasted, buttery bun held the thick Chargrilled Burger which was topped well with a pungent Roquefort cheese. The crunchy and salty shoestring fries on the side made the meal perfectly complete.
- Nikki BogopolskayaJuly 10, 2014Some preach allegiance to the gnudi but the burger here has my heart. You'll wait 2 hours for a table so grab a drink at Aria Wine Bar next door while you do--they'll text you.
- Best burger on the planet. Try it rare, sans Roquefort with a side of crispy pigs ears. Get the Devils on Horseback, Chicken Liver Toast, Deviled Eggs, and the Gnudi.
- MonicaMay 8, 2014OMG! This place is to die for! The chicken liver toasts are amazing, and the burger is by far the best I've had so far. Couldn't recommend it enough, you're mad if you don't go!!
- Gary RelojJanuary 4, 2015The burger is a must for your first time. Deviled egg, skirt steak, burrata, and chicken liver toast are my favorites!
- Renee TillottMarch 8, 2015Ricotta Gnudi was amazing. The burger & fries were overrated But I'd go back for the Gnudi & to try other things. Nice atmosphere & The wait wasn't as long as they said it would be.
- Tamara HendonJuly 30, 2013Loved the crispy sea bass!! The fries are a must have! 4 stars for sure! The upstairs seating gives a great, cozy view of Greenwich.
- HolidayDecember 18, 2015Not sure what I had at 1am. I thought I had squid but looking at the menu online, I had clams in chorizo broth. I do remember the oysters and burger. I'll be back sober for the mindbending food soon.
- Roniel TesslerSeptember 7, 2015Getting in is as exciting as the food. This place defines cozy (the decor screams British pub charm). We came for the burger, which, while good, is not my favorite due to the Roquefort cheese.
- Liese BiesJuly 19, 2015The raddish salad is indeed very filling and surprisingly tastefull. The barsh was perfectly cooked and had a nice salty crust. The bacon dressing made it Spotted Pig worthy.

- paris mcmahonJanuary 18, 2014No kidding the burger is THE best I have ever tasted. Incredible. Good friendly vibe, efficient staff & if a burger isn't your thing then toasted cheese was blooming good too!
- First We FeastAugust 3, 2014Yes, it's annoying that you can't make any substitutions, but the unflinching vision of the Chargrilled Burger is perhaps part of the reason its pleasures have stood the test of time. Read more
- Dan FetznerApril 9, 2016It's hard to justify $25 on a burger, but the burger with Roquefort cheese was worth it. Comes with a huge mound of amazing shoestring fries, I wish I wasn't so hungover so I could've eaten more
