- Carl GriffinFebruary 14, 2016The regular watering hole of two of Jack the Ripper's victims. Beautiful pub that has changed little since those Victorian days. Great real ales.
- Ashley GayOctober 21, 2014Great range of beers and a few Jack The Ripper stories to go with them. Shame they took down the name board of the rippers victims as it named 6 people instead of 5 as it is generally told.
- ᴡ LindmarkJune 30, 2014Had anniversary dinner upstairs and food is interesting and high quality, service was personal and attentive. Dining room is quirky and has interesting art. Only drawback was some noisy guests.
- MonikaMarch 9, 2016Iconic pub with a small but perfectly lovely selection of craft beer. On the Jack The Ripper tour, hence the Mary Kelly grafitti in the loo.
- One of the best pubs in the area for street drinking in the sun, though be prepared to be approached by many of the local characters. Oh, and don't forget to stand inside the chalk line!
- James GoochMarch 26, 2018Great ales in the pub where some of Jack The Ripper’s victims drank. Steeped in history but with a modern menu!
- 💎TAugust 19, 2014Pretty good beer selection. A bartender was nice enough to help me find an IPA since I didn't know any of the brands here.

- Ariana VoyerOctober 3, 2018Tasty Pimm’s cup if you want a drink before dinner at St. John’s down the street or in Spitalfields market.
- BommyNovember 17, 2019Popular bar with people spilling out on the sidewalk. Head upstairs if it’s too crowded downstairs.
- Great place to start your night out, one of the cheapest pubs in the area.
- WillMcDOctober 21, 2015Great pub! Famous for a Jack The Ripper murder. Ask if they have Bibble on tap.
- Hannah JessicaJanuary 17, 2019Nice pub located opposite Spitalfields. Plenty of seating and enough room for big groups.
- Steven PowerMay 25, 2013Awesome little pub, bound to history with its links to Jack the Ripper. Check out all the graffiti in the toilets too
- Emma McVitieSeptember 29, 2014A lot if history around this bar. Staff are lovely. Always meet new people here!
- budgetplaces.comJuly 15, 2011In this bar they know everything there is to know about Jack the Ripper! Come find out the names of his victims and enjoy a beer in this bar dating from 1752.
- Phil SmithJanuary 8, 2011The Bombardier is not to be missed. A bit flat (that's London for ya!) but still a great nutty brown barrel of rollicking ale!! "BAR TENDER!!"
- Adam FauxMarch 19, 2011Literally one of the best pubs in London! Barely changed since the days of jack the ripper, gets lively at the weekend, get yourself here!
- George JohnsonApril 1, 2012This pub is directly opposite Old Spittalfields Market and is steeped in Jack the Ripper history .... see belowhttp://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ten_Bells
- Chip WalkerApril 11, 2014Jack the Ripper found his victims here! Must have a pint. Then go across the street to the market.
- debra duncanApril 13, 2013Nice food, but not enough of it. Couple of slices of venision, butternut squash (which was a light mouse), some more vegetables would have been enough to make it.
- Anna WallaceDecember 14, 2014Sometimes hit, sometimes miss. Traditional decor and a Ripper history. But can smell of old louts..
- Solveig OskJune 13, 2011They've done the place up since I went first. Doesn't have an awful lot of indoor-space but looks nice + you can stand outside to enjoy the life round Spitalfields market. Read more
- Lars BrücherFebruary 24, 2012Young Turks Crew is running the Restaurant in the first floor until the end of April.
- Mr JSeptember 1, 2012Food is ridiculously overpriced and unreasonably pretentious. I rarely leave a bad review, but this place deserves the worst of thoughts. I hope they choke on my money. P.s: waiters are really kind.
