When booking your table, remember to ask not to be placed by the entrance... But apart from this, the beef Sunday roast was amazing, as well as the banoffee.

Upmarket pub serving great food, crowded on Tues due to pub quiz. Recommend Scallops & black pudding, Veal w/ duck egg, Choc fondant. Food (9/10), Service (7/10), Value (7/10). Read more

If the above two are fully booked, head to the Well for 3rd best, desserts are average and you will need to order drinks at the bar as waiters are great at avoiding eye contact

Roast beef was good. Good meat and nice accompaniments. My only gripe is the service was slightly lacklustre

Amazing burger - was taken off the menu for a while. If it's not there just ask. Chips are bloody good too.

Food here was good, I would recommend the lamb neck defiantly! The steak was overpriced for what it is, while it was nice, it was £10 more than anything else on the menu and not as good as it could be

Sunday roast at the Well is quite something. That said I'm having wild rabbit and bacon pie and greens. It's all good and great wine selection.

Better in the evenings than brunch when service is poor and dishes all seem to be missing vital things (like no toast with salmon and eggs, no butter).

Today no ingredients for the advertised cocktails. Wine by the glass? Answer "barely none". Fine, if you can't be bothered neither can I. Off up the road to the Peasant.

Try the steak and chips. I had venison, which was awesome, but my fiancee's rib eye was something else!

Frozen food :( Fish fingers served cold in the inside, waitress looked not to believe us. After a microwave blast, it was good enough. Quality is not that right for this price tag. Not recommended.

don't have a starter or any main other than mussels not worth it... Not for 20 a pop. Too much money without enough to show, ask the manager if he ever gets round to your table... Or is it a her?

Bon lloc per dinar, acollidor, bon servei i atents. Es troba a barri menys concorregut pero amb encant.
