    the all glass elevators leave the ground floors and soar up into an outdoor tower. theyre fast! its kinda scary when theres no stops but fun too.

    Love the wide hallways and mini chandeliers in the rooms! The regal decor and ambience is everything I expected from the St. Francis.

    Get a shoeshine down the corridor near the Oak Room. There's fast and free Wifi in the lobby too.

    Ask for a room in the Towers. The other, older section of the hotel has dark rooms and thin walls.

    It's loud. The 3am trash collection sounds like godzilla outside the tower. Also bring plenty of long cord chargers because the outlets in this wing couldn't be laid-out any worse

    Could be a beautiful property but is poorly maintained. Chateau Montelena winery tasting room in the lobby is the highlight.

    Make sure to see the Shoe Doctor near the fitness center. It's not a shoe shine; you are visiting the doctor! He is going to be on The Discovery Channel.

    Ask to stay in the old part of the hotel. Rooms are a tad smaller but bigger on character.

    If you plan on using the hotel Internet here, bring an ethernet cable. The regular $14.95 wireless service is super weak.

    Check out the Imperial Room on the 32nd floor for killer views. The ride up the glass windowed elevator is worth it by itself!

    Bad, bad, bad hotel. The only good thing is the ubication. You hear all night noises from the rooms beside yours! I can't sleep in all my stay.

    The elevators suck now. You have to key in your floor, 2-3 times, before an elevator will pick you up. WTF?!
