- Erik CintronJanuary 14, 2018This is bar is great for whatever you want. You want to watch sports or want to dance to top 40, celebrate birthday or just chill with your lady it’s here. Always a good crowd, drinks and eye candy
- Jane KatzMay 17, 2015fun to go with a group and actually the nicest bouncers I've ever witnessed; was a very mixed crowd of fratty boys post college but also jersey shore castmates? drinks are strong and reasonably priced
- Great early start place for a date, play a few games and then get the night started. It tends to get fairly rowdy later in the night. If you get a beer can, ask for a koozie!
- KiraJuly 15, 2021The bartender was incredibly nice and the drinks were great. I went in the early evening so I didn’t experience the nightlife aspect but it seemed like a great place to hang, play games and dance.
- Kimmie OhhDecember 11, 2019Get a Brooklyn Tea (raspberry tea, lemon, sour & iced tea) or a John Daly (sweet tea vodka, lemon & soda). There’s a $10 shot & beer special. Great happy hour deals!
- Drew SicklerJanuary 7, 2016Staff here are very friendly people. They do not hesitate to give buyback with pickle back shots! Wings are great. Try the bowl o' bacon.
- If you can stand being shoulder to shoulder in a sea of bros, get yourself a few spicy pickle backs to cope.
- Bring a sweatshirt or jacket as it’s freezing downstairs! (Or just get an Irish coffee to warm yourself up.)
- It's popping on Sunday's for the games. Make sure you take advantage of the $10 special for a shot and a beer.
- Nick DamianoMay 28, 2013Score 80 points on the basketball game for a free beer (well $1 for the game). As a seasoned pop-a-shot veteran, I was able to get a round for our whole group for under $10.
- Marc MayerOctober 5, 2015Good bar food, but the crowd can get a little fratty. Don't fret, the staff will take great care of you.
- Best pickle back shots I've ever had. Come on a week night and have one of the bartenders create special cocktails for you. Food is solid, too.
- Lee DonoherJanuary 6, 2014Soulless place, set up to cash in on the popularity of the area.Avoid and spend your bucks and one if the dozens of other smaller, friendly and real places.

- The Corcoran GroupAugust 27, 2010Try a Pickle Back with Tom Lawless American whiskey. Amazing selection of whiskeys and lots of bar and arcade games.
- EugApril 23, 2017Awful. Wasn't allowed to enter because I was driving. Bouncer saw me parking in the front and said I can't come in. Mind you I don't even drink alcohol. The craziest thing I've ever heard on my life.
- Amar ModiSeptember 19, 2013Great alternative to Brooklyn bowl, less wait and bullshit covers, decent priced drinks, great picklebacks and friendly staff.

- Drew KolarJanuary 6, 2011Obviously, pickle backs are the way to go, but the happy hour is also pretty great: $1 off all the already affordable drinks from noon to 8! Check out my review under "More Info" below! Read more
- If you love whiskey (which you should if you're at fucking whiskey Brooklyn) ask Vinnie or Joel for a Presbyterian. You won't regret it.
- Cole KennedyNovember 30, 2015I tried really hard to leave douchey college bars behind when I moved to NYC.
- Brownstone Living NYCMarch 15, 2015Great mix and mingle spot. Also good for group gatherings. Cute male bartenders.

- Lucas UllrichJanuary 17, 2015Decent gastropub food and fun games. The selection of beers could be improved but then again it's called The Whiskey and not The Beer.

- Alicia RauserFebruary 2, 2013Joel is a bartender here and he's pretty awesome. If you can wave him down, it's worth it.
- Julie MorseOctober 30, 2017Good music, although bartenders are quite slow and tend to ignore you. Also the waiting line is crazy, try to arrive before 11pm
- Aaron Christopher CohenDecember 9, 2012Explain why High Life trucked in from Wisconsin is cheaper than Brooklyn Lager literally made next door.
