- The Corcoran GroupAugust 9, 2013We love this East Village cocktail bar - not only are the drinks delicious and expertly crafted, but the food is pretty tasty as well. Order The 7th, and get the fish and chips if you're hungry.
- Zach MaierMarch 15, 2013To start, get the Great Jones cocktail (maple and walnut flavored) along with a side of fries and malt vinegar mayo. Then, dig into the burger. One of the best pub burgers I've had in NYC.
- Solid brunch menu. For food, get the avocado toast and kale salad with soft-boiled eggs. For drinks, get the gin & juice or the weekender.
- BollareMarch 30, 2012Great food, well made cocktails, friendly staff, and a relaxed vibe make this NoHo hotspot a go-to. While it can get packed on the weekend, beat the crowds and stop by on a Weds or Thurs night. —Joey
- Giulia MMarch 9, 2019Consistently great - cocktails and food. Crowd is fun. Bartenders and waiters are nice. Always a good day or night option!
- This is the bar that all the beautiful club people go to when they just want to go to a bar. The foods surprisingly delicious and it's practically impossible to have a bad time.
- AlexAugust 12, 2016delicious cocktails and very lively place. the soft shell crab po boy is really good. their pickle plate is nice, more sweet than sour.
- AmandaMarch 22, 2015Awesome little place with a great vibe and menu. Had the roasted Brussel sprout salad with kimchi. So good
- BasakJanuary 29, 2016It might get a little too loud and crowded but they have solid burgers and artisanal beer. They also make good old fashioned.
- Go for the meat/cheese plates and make sure to order a craft beer. Cocktails are also on point, loved the pineapple creation I got.
- Tony XerriJanuary 23, 2015Penrose, Sweet Afton, The bonnie, and The Wren. The only bad thing to say about this place is the narrow passage next to the bar leading to the bathroom. You can literally be stuck for 10 minutes...
- HannahJune 8, 2014The Diplomat cocktail is highly recommended for those of you who like shrubs (and if you know anything, then you do). It's the perfect summer drink.
- Lia ValengoMarch 30, 2014The place is perfect. Nice service, the music is also good, and the food...oh my god! Order the AWC drink and enjoy your brunch.
- The Fools Gold (Powers Gold whiskey, Canton ginger liqueur fresh, fresh ginger syrup, honey, lemon) is refreshing. And I love how the menu tells you what type of glass the drinks come in.
- Very good cocktails, nice bartenders. Wren Old-Fashioned is what you need to order. Crowd is different each night of the week-I like Mon/Tues. If you're not into the bro scene, don't go on a Friday.
- Nate BeattyNovember 28, 2015A good upscale bar and gastropub but it's too loud and just a touch too nice for my taste. Round table in the window in the front is the best seat in the house
- Public House WineAugust 26, 2014If you're under 30, this is the pickup bar of your dreams. Get there early before the crowd spills in, get a table, a Manhattan and an order of fries.
- John ANovember 8, 2014Great Friday happy hour! well prepared drinks and good eats. Bit eccentric but nice country style decor. Acoustic guitar adds ambiance.
- A reliable spot with a decent crowd. Never a bad time here. Go on a weeknight or for day drinking, sometimes there are better spots to hit up if the line is long.
- Avneesh KohliAugust 1, 2018This place has a great vibe. Definitely try the shishito peppers (4 people can share!). The burger was decent too.
- Alexander KuzminAugust 11, 2018If you like gastropubs with good beers, fine foods, get in if you are in walking distance. Rec!
- Lacey HeggemAugust 3, 2013Corner table in the back is perfect spot for an intimate dinner or larger groups- room to sit around but also quite enough for conversation.
- Tom JosephMay 1, 2015Cool bar with tables upstairs and a bit more space to move around downstairs. Good drinks selection and atmosphere
- Jane KatzMay 7, 2015my favorite items to get with drinks here are beef Tartare or chicken liver toast and fries. Also, shrimp boil is tasty but messy and mussels are meh
- Michael G.February 12, 2022A nice upgrade when you’ve aged out of B Bar, Phebes, and Bowery Electric. The basement is a great space for private parties.
- Leandro LageraMay 29, 2016Great for people watching and some of the best bar food around. Get some drinks and lose yourself in the afternoon.
- London NagaiAugust 5, 2014Can get crowded, so make sure you go all the way to the end of the bar or stay up front...the middle is a death trap
- Indulgent EatsFebruary 17, 2015Great cocktails like the Honey Dip. They also make their own version of Fireball infused with habanero 💯
- Fun bar with a downstairs. Definitely go downstairs, good music and great wheat beers.
- Jon hoffmanJuly 9, 2014The wren burger is really tasty, but fyi, it is not actually wren meat. Maybe they can put a bird on it if you ask nicely.
- pablcoFebruary 4, 2015it's similar to a typical restaurant/bar in williamsburg, it's really nice and it has good space in the ground floor
- Victoria NatenzonMay 3, 2014There isn't one New Yorker in their 20s who doesn't have a story about the time they went here. Fridays & Saturdays are crazy but otherwise it's cute for a cocktail on a date.
- Tavonna MillerSeptember 7, 2014Really nice ambience with a down-home feel. Nicely priced menu items! Must come back with a good book!
- a great place to unwind after a long day at work or just a fun place to grab a drink with friends
- Branzino BandiniJune 13, 2012This Irish-style gastropub does a roaring trade with East Village night owls, but come brunch time, it’s blissfully quiet—a windfall when you’re nursing a hangover. (Cheap)
- Martin S.December 10, 2014The smoked trout pâté is pretty good. I expected a stronger flavor, but it's quite mild. Pairs well with the Amber ale in the menu.
- Viv SoMarch 15, 2015Great for right after work. Try and grab a table in the back before it gets too crowded.
- Igor TumasovSeptember 25, 2014The Lumineers meets Lower East Side. Can't loose but it will get crowded. Great cocktails all around.
- Thomas EllisMay 3, 2014In order to get the full experience, you’ll want to split your time between the upstairs and downstairs dueling bars
- TrevorMay 21, 2013Cosy wood interior with a small menu of New American food and cocktails, all very nicely done.
- Andrew COctober 11, 2017Came here with a small group for brunch... service was slow and food orders were missing/wrong when first brought out -- all the drinks were on point tho!!!!
- Kathryn DApril 9, 2018Start with the churros. For vegetarians, the mushroom scramble is a great choice.
- Karina TorricoJanuary 2, 2013Go for the great Jones drink. Scotch drink w maple syrup. The cauliflower bacon broth soup is AMAZING.
