The best and most consistent winery on North Fork right now. Great, old-world wines. The Estate Merlot and White Label Chardonnays are great values... but often cheaper from local wine stores.
Winemaker Gilles Martin is amazing. Sparklings and Chardonnays are highlights.
She's making the first Gruner Veltliner on the North Fork and it's quite good. She also has a great dry rose.

I was impressed last visit. They're making some nice wines across the board, and the Pinot Noir was solid. (Better than McCall's recent vintage)
Mixed bag. Eric Fry from Lenz makes some of their merlots which are dead ringers. Great off the beat tasting room.
A really beautiful tasting room. Used to taste all of Bedell wines here too, now it's just a selection - but still less crowded.
Mixed. Their 2007 Cab Franc was great, but the 2008 was disappointing. Assemblage is good, but overpriced (unless you buy from local wine stores). Even "Dry Riesling" is sweet
Nice dry roses, mostly made from Merlot grapes. Some of them are a little off-putting but some are great.
They were one of the rising stars but had some mis-steps. By all accounts their new vintages will reclaim some of the old glory.
This is the "party" winery. Lots of live music, open later. Some of their wines are pretty solid too.
It tends to be very crowded and filled with very loud and very drunk people, perhaps because it's the furthest east.

A little cheesy on the decor. One of the few places that offers food on the weekend, and it's also the only winery that doesn't allow children. Their wines are actually surprising good given decor!
