- Pricilla WangApril 16, 2014This casual bar and pie shop, top-notch wood-fired cheese discs for years, Buffalo mozz, prosciutto di parma, and pecorino Toscano DOP. a pretty great beer selection too
- GothamistJune 6, 2012Excellent beer selection, better than necessary wine by the glass, and delicious pizza from a wood fired oven. Pro tip: Bathroom is wallpapered with 1970s playboys. Be sure to ask about the beer club.
- Fodor's TravelSeptember 9, 2015There are many delectable options, from classic margherita to fig and gorgonzola or smoked pancetta and black garlic, and a tempting selection of salads, too. Read more
- Definitely the best pizza you can get in Park Slope (South). Probably the best pizza you can get in all of Brooklyn. Great draught selection. Do yourself a favor and come on by.
- Toby's still stands as my favorite pizza in NYC, but I can't believe I waited this long to try the truffle mushroom ravioli. 😱 Equally as good.
- Dane BJanuary 18, 2015Good pizza. Good beer. Good music. Good people. Good beef jerky. What more do you need in life?
- Great pizza, and they were so willing to make changes to anything to suit a vegan. I had the veggie pizza with artichoke hearts, no cheese. Great beers, too!
- eric mortensenAugust 12, 2016Bro's abound. Backward baseball caps. Long talks about college rivalries. Naked women photo wallpaper in the bathroom. Too bad, cuz it has some good beer and food.
- Michael SmutkoJune 2, 2015Smoked pancetta, tartuffa and the risotto. Omg. Mushroom ravioli with truffle sauce is awesome. Great beer selection
- 🍕❤️ Toby's. Order everything, (but really the mushroom ravioli and a pizza to dip into the sauce omg).
- My favorite place to eat pizza in Brooklyn. Hands down. Get the Bufalina, really, get it right now.
- Bartender Bam's (off menu) Beef Jerky, grab a bag of original and kill me (spicy) to help wash down your pizza and brews
- In this order: Tartufata, sit outside, talk to Chris or Bam, DOC, Sopressatta, Spinach pie, Manicotti, Polenta, Mushroom Rav, Arugala salad, enjoy the restroom, sports, beer/wine, chat, smile
- Jason StruckDecember 27, 2014Pizza was amazing (Fig/Gorgonzola). Beer selection was small but solid. Great bartender and service.
- David HoltzOctober 3, 2016The pizza is good. Service wasn't super friendly. We asked them to put a CFB game onto one of the TVs and it became a long and awkward ordeal when it didn't have to be.
- Have tried almost every pizza on the menu now and they are all super deeeelish. Also dont miss out on the pumpkin salad! Smoked pumpkin seeds!
- Elliott ChristMay 21, 2011GF and I first visited our current digs on Valentines Day 2010, ate at Toby's a block away. That easily clinched us falling utterly in love with South Slope/Greenwood, and Toby's in particular.
- Autumn RayneDecember 14, 2014Mushroom ravioli is as the famed Bam says "phenomenal" gotta get some of his jerky also. It's been on TV after all.
- Flat crust pizza that's actually filling. Note the beer club's member mugs hanging above the bar.
- The pizza is amazing -- but so are the salads and the tiramisu. But the oddest attraction is Bam the bartender's beef jerky; the Dr. Peppa is a particular favorite of mine.
- Kev SkinnyAugust 13, 2014Best in the area, but who has time to wait 45 mins for a small pie? Cash only spot also and not cheap so hit up a bank before ordering.
- Great beer and great pizza. Favorites are the Margherita and the spinach pizza
- Daniella TaginoMarch 1, 2014This is the bartender that does't treat their costumer as he should , just ignoring our call with his back to us!
- The buffalina pizza is incredible! Owned by a company that also owns an animal rights organization!
- The Corcoran GroupNovember 6, 2010Pizza, beer and sports! We love Toby’s Calzone, The Smoked Pancetta and the Napoletana. Don’t miss the Dessert Calzone!
- David ZhangSeptember 21, 2014My second favorite pizza in the city (after lucali). The tartufata is incredible!

- The Sandwich Enthusiast 🍔November 25, 2015Some of the best thin crust pizza I've had in NYC. Great stuff.
- Amber VittoriaSeptember 22, 2014The tartufata is perfect for two, though it is incredible enough to eat a whole one on your own.
- Nyrican PrincessJune 10, 2012Besides having the best brick oven pizza They have the best tiramisu & buffalo mozzarella salad.
- Ethan MorganNovember 10, 2010Pizza was really good and two IPA's to choose from. They don't deliver but I'm sure I with brave the winter months a few times this winter for pick up.
- Manda ShettletonJuly 13, 2014Mushroom Ravioli made me so so happy. Perfect consistency creamy sauce.
- Have the hot cap and artichoke pizza! It made it onto the menu after Sam H. and I suggested it. Also, it's DELICIOUS.
- Everything is fantastic here. If you aren't in the mood for pizza get a calzone. No calzone? Get the mannicotti. You won't be dissapointed; and as always, TIP WELL.
- ºDamian White ºApril 2, 2011The Quattro Stagioni was simply to die for, but that Manicotti that came out of that brick oven...mmmmm!! Smelled a little like heaven!
- Megan NunemacherJune 9, 2012The del mac is amazeballs and if you have room get the dessert calzone, yum!
- The fontina rosemary chickpea bruschetta and the mussels make a good start!
- The bathroom is wallpapered with Playboy mag covers. This caused some *awesome* conversation when I took my 5 year old in to take a leak.
- Beer Bar ReviewsMay 18, 2012Just a good ol' neighborhood hangout to drink, watch the game and eat truffle pizza.
- Matt AbruzzoJuly 12, 2010The Pizza Napoletana is to die for! As is the Calzone. The atmosphere is so chill and relaxed.
