Great unpretentious neighborhood joint. I wandered in during a recent snow storm for a bowl of risotto and a glass of red wine and it definitely hit the spot.

Sat at the bar with a few friends and we ordered drinks and shared several plates. Everything was delicious! The bartender and staff were so friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!

Lovely ambiance for a date or dinner w friends. Get the raw veg salad and crispy sweetbreads (on waffles!) to start. Terribly slow service, so over-order on the cocktails to avoid getting the snips.

Excellent flair and flavor for a first date or casual date. The setting is just right and food is delicious. Soon to be a date spot contender in the LES. http://www.datemapps.com

Good first date spot. Food good, not great. Good sized portions. Great bourbon selection. Sweet bread is really just chicken and waffles with maple syrup butter- and it's delicious.

Nice ambience. Try the Clam dip. "Bread and Butter" as a $3 app - ridic (bread is nothing amazing at all). Squash tart has NO tart. It's completely overpriced and under-proportioned roast squash.

Come in, say hi to Michael, order the lamb ribs and raw vegetable salad or beet soup, and be happy. :)

Sit at the bar and talk to the owners. Like most amazing places, that's how you'll have the best experience.

Route 127 is a fantastically complex cocktail. Pairs perfectly with Black Metallic playing on the stereo.

I don't normally eat sweetbreads either. But I do here. Amazing! The late night burritos are all-star.

Nice wine bar. Lamb ribs are tasty. Good place to wait for your table at Mission Chinese.

The sweetbreads dish is the most genius riff on chicken n' waffles I've ever tasted. Ever.

Heavily poured mimosas... Light on the OJ! And how do you beat a $22 brunch?

The $4 orange juice is served in the tiniest glass I've ever seen! Kind of disappointing.
