Tom Comet: Nice gluten free options, but plenty of traditional ones too. Love the fruity pebbles cupcake and red velvet cookie. Staff was really fun and friendly and were joking around with us.
Bowling Alley · Culver-Winton-Main · 5 tips and reviews
Tom Comet: Very fun and shockingly good food considering the venue. My biggest top is— call ahead to reserve your lane!! I’ve never made a bowling reservation before but this place fills up fast.
Tom Comet: It’s so much fun to go searching for the little fairy houses hidden through the park. Esp fun around Easter as eggs and jellybeans (dont eat them!) are also hidden throughout the park.
Art Gallery · Central Business District · 2 tips and reviews
Tom Comet: Teeny tiny but fun art space. I recommend visiting the 6x6 show, as the sheer number of artworks packed into the small space make it a unique and fun experience.

Tom Comet: I actually like the appetizers better than the main course! Ramen is standard fare, but try the calamari which is perfectly cooked, and the ribs which are on a plate of amazing sweet potato fries.
Tom Comet: The BEST Mexican food in the Rochester region. Everything I’ve had is delicious. Call ahead-it gets very busy esp on weekends. Honestly, so good it’s ruined most other local Mexican spots for me.
Tom Comet: Giant slices are truly huge! About 1/4 a large pizza. Plus there’s often b1g1 coupons in the local mail or clipper. I do wish they had better desserts- the cookie I had was also huge but a bit bland.
Tom Comet: I always get the buffet. It’s nicely spiced, a little more flavorful than other places. Waiters offer samosas with the buffet, and they have self-serve mango lassi.

Movie Theater · 35 tips and reviews
Tom Comet: This is my favorite theater in Rochester. Comfortable, clean, reasonably priced. I had my first date with my partner here and 10 years later we are still going to the movies together :)
Tom Comet: Cute local shop. Fresh coffee, but I really like the baked goods. Lemon bread is delicious and the best rhubarb pie I’ve ever had. Also love the seasonal lemonade smoothie.
Music Venue · Central Business District · 3 tips and reviews
Tom Comet: This used to be water street but is much more fun and family friendly now. The chicken and waffles and design your own waffle are my favorites.
Tom Comet: Love it here. My favorite is the platter- 3 types of sausage (try the weisswurst!) & potato salad. Dine in and then take something home from the deli. Call ahead as dining hours are very limited.
New American Restaurant · NOTA · 26 tips and reviews
Tom Comet: Really delicious bison burger and oysters. Only issue was that we all ordered the same thing cooked to different doneness and the waiter gave us the wrong ones. Food was so good it didn’t matter tho.
Tom Comet: FUN! great selection of games (that rotates). Surprisingly good food, and fun drinks. Warning: the Tekken machine kept eating my tokens (they refunded me, but I wanted to play tekken!)
Tom Comet: SO good! Service can be a little slow but it’s worth it. Fresh, flavorful food. I get a taro smoothie every time. They give you a free pudding at the end of the meal too.

Tom Comet: My favorite Chinese takeout in Rochester. The best sesame chicken- it’s not just breading like other places and it’s tender. Lomein is soft and fresh, awesome fried rice.
Tom Comet: This is another place that offers more options from direct menu than from Grubhub. They have the best Rangoons in town. The combo special with 3 options is my favorite. 3 dishes and noodles for free
