This spot is popular so it is quite noisy - great for groups but not good if you're not a morning person! I love the Tasso Grits & Eggs, which I had poached. Breakfast happy hour 8-11 weekdays.

The pork cheek hash is amazing! Get an over easy egg on top. I reached for the hot sauce before tasting it, but didn't need it. Full of flavor and spice.

Gumbo was interesting, for you Southern expats. They use basamati rice which is kinda wierd, and the roux was a bit on the salty side, but good overall. Nice stiff drinks as they are next door.
