Quaint cafes, luxurious tea rooms and 喫茶店 ~ for a lazy afternoon, for quiet time with friends, for a cup of tea to soothe and calm, or for cakes that make you happy. (Excludes Starbucks & Coffee Bean)
Tracy: Chocolate Sea Salt Caramel Tart is simply gorgeous. That's coming from someone who doesn't like caramel. Lemon Drizzle will have you going back for more! Tea is so-so. Coffee not bad. Nice concept!
Tracy: The fruit tea is superb - refreshing and soothing to the soul~! I love the pear tea and the lychee tea. Go without sugar and have a go at the fruits in the teapot. Skip the cheesecake tho!
Tracy: Great view for a afternoon! The Parisian teas are wonderful and quality high-tea selection. Any serious tea lover would appreciate the open-face cucumber sandwiches - a staple in the English tea menu
Tracy: Love the lemon strawberry pie - zesty with a tinge of sweetness. Great service, lovely pies, good friends and charming decor all make for a wonderful lazy afternoon.

Tracy: Love the cakes! Tried their signature Anionette. Earl Grey hint is beautiful. Tea is so-so. Still prefer the TWG ones. Nice ambiance for a chi-chi day out. They serve water in glass goblets. Lovely!
Tracy: One can hardly stop at 1 cake! What's lovely about the cafe is the service. The staff takes time to explain these Japanese cakes & recommends according to your taste preference. Pity too few tables...

Tracy: Great scenery. Petit creme brulee is great. Its soft sweetness balances well with its bittersweet dark crust. Open-face cucumber sandwich - a must-have for any decent English high-tea place.

Tracy: With such a humongous list of teas, it can be a mind-boggling affair to choose. Go with your favorite kind (darjeeling/earl grey/green/white) & experiment! Macaroons r too sweet. Fav tea: Amour de The
Tracy: The Guinness cupcake is delish. First mouthful is rich with Guinness. The cream balances it out nicely to make for a not-too-sweet cupcake. Nice coffee and service. Love the decor, and vintage wares.
Tracy: High tea is a little too much for me. Nice long windows, but couldn't stand the waiters going around to ask the ladies to dance. Special selection of TWG teas and had discovered my fav amour de the.
Tracy: Love the beer here! It's a good place to chill with friends after a hard day's work & to avoid crowd. Salad is beautifully done with just a zest of lemon juice. Love the chicken schnitzel.
Tracy: I feel that the Mandarin Gallery one is cozier. You can call to make a reservation here. Love the European all-day breakfast, brioche bread and sauteed mushrooms.
Tracy: My favorite weekday place for a big slice of chocolate cake, drowned in chocolate sauce & ice-cream, and shared between friends. The bay windows, oscillating fans & tropical island interior do relax.

Tracy: Bacon, ham and onion quiche - slightly sweet pastry crust balances well with savory filling. This, coming from a non-quiche person. Love the seasonal Orange Cappuccino during the CNY hols.

Tracy: Used to come here for English high tea with friends and have long conversations while sipping tea. The quality of the food has dropped. Prefer Axis at Mandarin Oriental for hotel-served high tea.

Tracy: Nice concept & merchandise. Choice of drink too little - but they have sarsi, so I forgive them. Area to sit & rest ur feet. Tempting to buy one of those vintage-style toys and cute little notebooks.
Coffee Shop · Singapore River · 154 tips and reviews
Tracy: Nice place for a lazy weekend. Coffee is better than Forty Hands, though a little on the thin side. I would have prefer a creamier, more robust blend. Love the long top.
Scandinavian Restaurant · Central Region · 103 tips and reviews
Tracy: Love the cozy interior, especially the 2nd floor, which feels like a cottage. Didn't really like the IKEA-like main course here. Next time, will reserve the stomach for dessert.
Tracy: The quality of creme brulee and tart that I ordered here was different from the ones I had in Paris and Shanghai. A little disappointed. What's more? The service could really be better.
Tracy: A disappointment. The staff seems under-trained, milling around. There were only 4 types of cakes available when it's called "Delicious Cakes". Overpriced beverages. Only saving grace - the interior.
Tracy: Service not that great. Staff seems to be more concerned about expat customers' babies that I felt that having to order was actually bothering them. So-so coffee.

Tracy: Great disappointment. Over-rated, over-priced. Waited 50mins, and something that was $25 tasted like $6.50. Juz look at this egg benedict. Tea like cough syrup.
