Corey Partin: This building is absolutely amazing! The tour guides are informative and friendly and aren't afraid to tell you about the prisons dark history. You can even get locked in a cell!
Corey Partin: This museum is unique, informative and fun. Steve is a welcoming host with a lot of knowledge about the paranormal. It also features artifacts from the West Virginia Penitentiary.
Corey Partin: This cemetery is where some of the dead from the West Virginia Penitentiary are buried. It's beautiful and quaint as well as an important part of Moundsville history.
Corey Partin: This building is beyond beautiful both night and day. During the day you can enjoy seeing the amazing architecture in the light but at night the building is lit with amazing colors.
Corey Partin: Point Pleasant is a cute, unassuming town that features art, history and even the legend of the Mothman. While many store fronts stand empty there's still plenty to see.
Corey Partin: This bridge stands just down the river from where the old Silver Bridge once was. It's a beautiful bridge and makes for an impressive drive.
Corey Partin: The river front is a peaceful walk along, you guessed it, the river, which is impressively wide and separates Ohio from West Virginia. It also features two impressive bridges and muraled flood walls
Corey Partin: This bridge is accessible from the river walk and it's worth walking to. It spans the river hundreds of feet above you and makes for great photos.
Corey Partin: When I saw this beautiful theater it was locked up tight and for sale, but the front marquis is no less beautiful and definitely makes for a great photo.
Corey Partin: The memorial is small and stands a block or two from the Mothman Museum. It's worth seeing. A plaque describes what happened on that fateful day and bricks read the names of the 46 victims.
Corey Partin: This museum is quirky, fun and informative. The staff is friendly and welcoming and with an entrance fee of only $3.50 how can you resist?
Corey Partin: This statue is definitely an iconic must see when in Point Pleasant. Situated right next to the Mothman Museum it's easy to stop by and snap a photo or two.
Corey Partin: Don't let this little cemetery pass you by. It seems to be in an abandoned state, but it's still beautiful with several graves dating back to the Revolutionary War.
