With its castle, lake, traditional kybyn and green paths, absolutely worths to visit here from Vilnius in 45 minutes by train. Walking path from station to the castle is also joyfull (15-20 min.)

You can connect to a Turkish GSM operators for a while since the border is very close to the airport. If you are travelling with a cabin luggage, security will probably stop you and check it..
