If you are around Borough market on Thu/Fri/Sat and want a quick lunch, then Brindisa Stall is a HUGE recommendation. They're known for serving one of the best chorizo's of London.

Ze Zermans have arrived! Just off London Bridge, there is this great cellar with great german food and beers. Usually pretty crowded unfortunately.
My absolute favourite pub in London, brilliant selection of US and UK microbrewery beers. Their food is pretty good and during lunchtime I'd recommend the eggs benedict. Amazing Scotch eggs!
Cosy German beer garden and I can highly recommend to order the House Schnitzel that is served with bacon, an omelet, potatoes and a shot of Jagermeister. Avoid German soccer game days though.
Best dim sum place in China Town in my opinion. The servings are pretty big (often 8 instead of the usual 3).
Steaks are amazing but the Malbec wine list even more. I usually go for the Molina Malbec. Ask for first floor with Tower Bridge view for a date ;-)
Service is pretty crap, but food is amazing and it all comes really quickly. You are expected to leave also pretty quickly. They don't serve alcohol.
Brilliant little gastro pub in Shad Thames, with nice micro brewery beers on tap. Food is better than the Draft House (that is around the corner) but DH has bigger selection of beers.

Not the original dim sum but more western posh fusion version of dim sum, like lobster dumplings and venison puffs. Bit pricey but the place to go for celebrations. Brilliant wine and cocktail list.

Really nice atmosphere, ideal for a date, little celebration or just because. British food and they always try to make it special. Go to Giant Robot nearby for cocktails afterwards.
Amazing experience, impressive interior, great cocktails but food isn't that much better than some other Indian places in brick lane. It's more for the atmosphere. Pretty pricey though.

Officially a kiwi restaurant but food dishes take their inspiration from all over the world. Great place for brunch as well, try the turkish eggs, Monmouth coffee and the chocolate cookie!
Pretty reasonable priced dim sum given it's posh Mayfair location. I'd probably go instead to Dumpling's Legend but Princess Garden has a nicer interior.

Great little deli cafe. They do five or six hot lunches each day, or they can make you a sandwich with amazing Italian hams and cured meats. If they have the Quail Risotto on, you MUST have it.
