Andre Mohr: Hipster coffee shop where bespectacled baristas prepare some of the best brews in the town. Cappuccino is excellent (55k)

Andre Mohr: Excellent place. Get a stool on the balcony, a beer and a bánh mi and enjoy Hanoi. Good prices, specials, craft beers and wine

Andre Mohr: Very organised diving experience, comfortable boat, new equipment, and even a cooked lunch on the boat. Excellent

Andre Mohr: Best burger franchise in PH. Not even a hint of sweetness in their buns or mayo. Good texture and interesting options, including lamb. Always a favourite

Andre Mohr: One of the few remnants of 'old' Malate. Nice, little pub with good grub, interesting patrons and affordable drinks

Andre Mohr: The Korean BBQ here is excellent value, all you can eat meat and side dishes for less than 400 Php per person. Good quality, too. Basic place, cash only

Andre Mohr: Good beers, good music, good food. Really nice views, too, unfortunately only on the weekend when they open earlier. Expensive, but not excessively so

Andre Mohr: Very good bowls of soup, bun bo and my quang. Despite the Bui Vien location and prices (70k a bowl), locals still eat here, always a good sign

Andre Mohr: Nice decor, good Moroccan food, big portions. Wasn't too impressed with the starters but the tajines and couscous were very good. Normal prices, decent Moroccan wines, too

Andre Mohr: Good coffees, sumptuous cakes and prime location. The local beer is excellent. Not cheap, obviously

Andre Mohr: Italian café in a beautiful half timbered house in the Old Town. A good cappuccino comes in a nice size and goes for only 2,40€

Andre Mohr: Nice, old fashioned café in the pedestrianised centre of town. Coffees are alright, if quite expensive. 3,50€ for a mug of cappuccino. A large slice of tasty quiche is 7,95€

Andre Mohr: Attractive hipster café, small but comfy. Good coffees, great location. 3,20€ for a flat white

Andre Mohr: Simple, honest working people's food. Big portions at low prices. Huge place but super popular for a reason. The lechona is delicious. Other dishes to try, callos tripe stew, snails and squid

Andre Mohr: The food is traditional and good, without being exceptional. Very nice decor in an ancient cellar. Good House wine, very big portions, even the starters

Andre Mohr: They do proper flat whites here, and sell craft beers, and avocado toasts. Enough said

Andre Mohr: Beautiful restaurant, good house wine, delicious food. Grilled rabbit, pig tongues, blood sausage, snails, liver...

Andre Mohr: Very nice beer garden in summer and log cabin in winter.

Andre Mohr: Outstanding healthy food, mostly Asian/Vietnamese. Quite chic for the east end with prices to match, but the quality is excellent

Andre Mohr: Can't comment on the food in this fancy café/deli but the coffee is pretty good for a countryside place. Stuttgart prices

Andre Mohr: Nice views and surprisingly good local food at affordable prices. Zwiebelrostbraten and Käsespätzle are recommended

Andre Mohr: Friendly and local. Nice IPA on tap. It's in St. Germain, so it's not cheap, obviously

Andre Mohr: Nice wines and bistro fare. The steak tartare (17€) is huge, enough for 2. Prices at a normal high as is standard in this neighbourhood

Andre Mohr: Haven't managed to visit the main branch in Tainan so can't compare, but their local specialties here, shrimp rolls and danzai soup are perfectly tasty and not too pricey for an airport establishment

Andre Mohr: Very good lattes here go for only 70$. Nice place for a coffee break

Andre Mohr: Bone broth with fresh beef. Most famous in town and tasty for sure. Some carbs on the side, rice with minced beef. A nice meal for 120$, but I don't think I'd queue for it like the locals do

Andre Mohr: Very cute little alley café with just a few seats. A smooth, nicely prepared cappuccino goes for 90$.

Andre Mohr: Strangely named, but pretty chic café/bistro in the new area between downtown and Anping. Very nice coffees and teas. Quite pricey for Tainan, though

Andre Mohr: Danzai noodles (50$) and century egg (15$), a tasty combination for a noodle soup breakfast
