Andre Mohr: Friendly little café at Xindian metro station. Coffees come in Starbucks style big mugs, but they're realistically priced at 65$ and well prepared. Best value coffee I've found in Taipei

Andre Mohr: Possibly the prettiest café in town, although the prices really are over the top (200 for a cappuccino). At least the quality is good and you get a complimentary lime water with your cup

Andre Mohr: The local Starbucks. Not very atmospheric and quite expensive (110 for a cappuccino). But the coffee was excellent, smooth, perfectly prepared.

Andre Mohr: Excellent new addition to De Tham. Good variety of craft beers and delicious real local style drinking food. Very good prices for this area. Highly recommended. A glass of Jasmin IPA on tap is 40k

Andre Mohr: Unique nostalgia café by the canal. Good for a spending a lazy afternoon and pretend it's 1996 in Saigon. Prices are 2018, though

Andre Mohr: Tiny, and massively popular. Hard to get a table. Fancy Hue dishes, nicely presented, yet quite affordable. No wonder it's so busy. Try frog mi quang. Some dishes are only available for dinner

Andre Mohr: If you're lucky, you can get a seat with a view here. Thai food is tasty and nicely presented, prices are reasonable by Helix standards. Very popular

Andre Mohr: Very local bar with live music, good food and drinks. Inexpensive by Bangkok standards, their XXL cocktails are truly massive

Andre Mohr: Comfy and spacious. Coffees are professionally prepared and not too expensive. 90++ for a flat white. Wifi available

Andre Mohr: Probably the cheapest place for drinks on this road. Affordable wine list, as well

Andre Mohr: Massive, fancy looking bar-café-lounge with surprisingly moderate prices. A flat white is 9RM. Long happy hours from 3-9

Andre Mohr: Simple, cheap and filling Indian-Malay food. Massive murtabaks go for 6.50RM.

Andre Mohr: A Melaka institution in prime location. Food is good, if mostly vegetarian, nice coffees too. Not the cheapest place, but decent value

Andre Mohr: Old Town antiques shop which doubles as a café. Their Nonya laksa (5.50RM)is worth a try, esp with their delicious sambal on top

Andre Mohr: Attractive café with very good coffees, a flat white is 10 RM. Durian pancakes are recommended

Andre Mohr: Beautiful new café, nicely decorated with sofas and cushions. Strong ac and wifi, very good coffees and fresh juices. Not expensive, a cappuccino is 45k. Excellent place

Andre Mohr: Eye catching café with a well executed jungle theme. They serve Vietnamese coffees but also real, proper cappuccino (55k), perfectly prepared. Food is no reason to come here, bo kho tasted very bland

Andre Mohr: The biggest, busiest and most expensive of the riverside restaurants in this area. Food is very good, though, nice views

Andre Mohr: Delicious bowls of real Hanoi style Bun Cha at local prices, despite the touristy location. Don't forget to order a side of 'nem'. 35k
