Mallory Napolitano: Traditional Sicilian food, get the Ortygia platter and it’ll be enough for dinner! They are happy to adjust the type of food on the platter to accommodate dietary requirements (vegetarian etc)
Mallory Napolitano: Lovely restaurant on the edge of the bay, with delicious selection of seafood and pastas. Good gluten free and veggie options. Best place in Xlendi Bay for sure.
Mallory Napolitano: Don’t let the fact this is in a shopping mall put you off, this was the best coffee on the island. Get there early to grab a croissant, otherwise plenty of tasty cakes to eat.
Mallory Napolitano: Waterfront dive bar in the heart of St Julians that the tourists don’t seem to head to. No draft beer but good selection of cans and cocktails. Small food menu. Go there for sundowners with the locals
Mallory Napolitano: Amazing authentic Thai food. Beautiful setting, lovely atmosphere and brilliant service. Separate vegetarian menu. Something a bit special for sure!

Mallory Napolitano: Request the cushioned sun beds to have access to the adults only infinity pool. Get there early as the insta-Snapchat crowds arrive by lunchtime and line the edge of the pool. Food ok, cocktails good.
Mallory Napolitano: Great beachside bar with good selection of drinks and food. Right next to Exiles beach, so head for a dip and then back to the bar for a burger and can of Cisk.
Mallory Napolitano: Good coffee and delicious selection of Greek savoury pastries and cakes - the spinach & feta swirl, and custard filo slice were divine!
Mallory Napolitano: Fun place to visit in the day time as a fairground, check out what gigs there are and enjoy it after dark. Beer/wine is terrible but the vegan food shed was delicious.
Mallory Napolitano: Small but perfectly formed menu of brunch dishes, served on a vintage bus. The coffee is filter only, so pop next door for something a little fancier. Worth booking in advance as gets busy.
Mallory Napolitano: Great bar right on the seafront with good cocktails, craft beer and cheese/meat platters - offers takeaway of all their drinks to enjoy on the beach
Unit 13 Margate Harbour Arm, Stone Pier, Margate, Kent
Restaurant · 2 tips and reviews
Mallory Napolitano: Incredible wine bar serving small plates/sharing dishes (the Parmesan fritters are incredible) - right on the harbour arm with lovely views. Make sure you book in advance as gets super busy.
Mallory Napolitano: Make sure you book in for a tour & tasting, and grab a table at the small kitchen cafe for local seasonal dishes. The sparkling Pinot noir was delicious!
Mallory Napolitano: Beautiful gardens, make sure you allow at least half a day to explore. Plenty of stuff to keep kids happy, and dogs are welcome. Avoid the main cafe and instead grab food at one of the little kiosks
Mallory Napolitano: Delicious Asian fusion food right on the picturesque Porthleven harbour. Good selection of veggie/vegan options and a reasonable price.
Mallory Napolitano: A pub for winter! The tourists will sit outside but be like a local and sit inside the cosy traditional boozer and talk to the staff about their favourite beers (which won’t necessarily be local!)
Mallory Napolitano: Beautiful, well made cocktails at speakeasy style bar under the train arches. Friendly staff, very different cocktails on the menu - I love it! Bubble & smoke was gorgeous.
Mallory Napolitano: Small & large plates for sharing, plates aren’t THAT big so probably need 4 per person, but really delicious and the house wines are surprisingly great!
Mallory Napolitano: Great tap room with their own beer (Kveik IPA was a winner) as well as guest beer & cider. Indian street food kitchen, lovely staff, and most of the decor is vintage and available to purchase.
