Friendly staff, beautiful views, and cafe had the best Victoria sponge cake I’ve ever eaten. Oh, and the cycle tracks are good too!
3 slices per person is definitely enough! Good cocktails and the sides are a must. Yum. And yum.
Amazing food and cocktails, and large portion of the menu is vegetarian. Yes it’s expensive but well worth it for a special occasion or treat.

Good, but not amazing. Portions are big so worth sharing and checking with your server if you’ve over/under ordered. Make sure you get the lemon pie and a branca menta for dessert.

Well worth a visit (try to walk on the causeway one way, and boat the other), the house is interesting and beautiful, but the gardens are breathtaking. Take a picnic or visit one of the food kiosks.

Incredible gardens with interesting and beautiful sculptures throughout, and a gorgeous view of St Michael’s Mount. Take a picnic or visit the cafe, and swing by the plant shop on your way out.
The most amazing gardens with small private beach at the bottom (don’t forget your bathers!). Small kiosk for snacks on beach with full cafe at the top. Don’t forget the visit the plant shop!

Not a traditional farm shop, limited fruit/veg but great meat and cheese counters, homewares and gifts. Lovely cafe with interesting dishes, a little pricier than usual farm shop cafe but worth it.
