Excellent, authentic tacos. You’ll think you’re eating at the best taco place in Mexico. That said, I like the “quesadilla” best - I put it in quotes because it’s a regular taco with melted cheese.
I’ve walked by this place a thousand times and never knew it was here — now I’m hooked! Not sure about the food (yet) but the bar has some of the best cocktails I’ve had in the city.
Classic New York. This place has been around for ages and to a certain older clientele this place is a landmark. I think of this it now as cool without being trendy. A+ burgers, martinis, and service.
Those who have lived in Brooklyn for awhile will remember this place as One Last Shag. It’s changed ownership but still has a similar feel. Come here for the backyard in the summertime!
Not as crowded as some of the other folks mentioned. Two drink minimum but the cocktails are good/strong, so I thought it was a decent deal. Table service + server charges card w Square so super easy.
Wow! Stopped in because I saw the sandwich board with pics and glad I did. The shredded chicken is perfect—for “fast causal” this is pretty authentic Mexican. My new lunch spot.
One of the newest additions to Governors Island post-Sandy. Climb the rocks and enjoy one of the best views of the Statue of Liberty, Jersey City and NYC.
Common area is on the 8th floor. Lots of open desks and leather couches; one of the larger WeWork locations I’ve been to in the city so far.
New in 2019: no alcohol allowed. Beware that park rangers may ask to search your bag; they can issue open container tickets.
Good lunch special options. Limited seating. Oaxaca is a small NYC chain that does "tacos from a food truck" quality food well.
