Skip the observation deck and head to the rooftop bar (Ce La Vi) for the same view.
Essential stop if you're visiting Singapore! Drinks are very expensive; better to order wine for the best value. (Cocktail tasted a bit too sweet, doubt there was as much alcohol in it).
Pay extra for the Fast Pass. I went right before sunset and it took me about 10-15 minutes from entry at mall level to get to the top. Others were waiting 1-2 hours.
As of summer 2017, they removed the Afrikaans side of the sign, so both sides are in English now.
2/3 of the trail is easy enough for anyone to do (low incline, wide paths) - even if you didn't do the whole climb to the top, the views 2/3 up are still unbelievable.
