Great food, large beer garden, trendy interior and plenty of ales on tap. There is a small theatre and lots of midweek events. Penge's best pub, hands down.
It's easy to miss and doesn't exactly jump out at you as you walk past, but this coffee shop is worth seeking out. Flat whites are well executed, there's a gallery downstairs and staff are friendly.
The dynamite beef (pictured) is excellent, as is the rainbow sushi. Yida may not look like much from the outside, but the food is authentic and delicious. Highly recommended.
This is shopping on another scale. Electronics and homewares are stacked high and food is sold in huge portions. Bear in mind it's members only, so sign up first. An amazing cathedral to capitalism.

Blink and you'll miss it, but this tiny six table patisserie is a real gem. The cakes and pastries are excellent, and good value. Try the cheese & onion quiche which is fantastic. Highly recommended.
The open kitchen and intimate dining room lends authenticity. The sashimi and sushi are both excellent, while the Kobe beef is as melt in the mouth as you'd expect. Food is beautifully presented.
Authentic Italian cuisine, with fantastic flavours and excellent service. Try the mozzarella wrapped in wild boar for starter (pictured). Highly recommended.

Get here early on a Saturday (before 11am) to avoid the queues. The gardens are pleasant enough but the views outward are incredible (it's on the 35th floor). Food and drinks are reasonably priced.
