Did not have a reservation, still got a special table and were treated like special guests by a friendly waiter with a good sense of humour. Had excellent dinner and a lot of fun!
Amazing restaurant outside of Obidos, but definitely worth the trip there. Great food, amazing atmosphere, want to go there again!
Ginja in a chocolate cup, same offers as in Sintra, but the old town centre has a nicer feel to it. Walk up to the castle and enjoy the view of the surroundings.
Basically "all you can eat" as long as it fits on your plate in one go. Good quality of food, tasty, quick lunch.
Nice historic place with a great view of the surrounding area. Also great as not swamped by tourists.
Check the weather before you go, if you want to go there for the sun set, don't go too early. If it's windy, it's quite chilly and not soo nice to stay there for too long. Stunning view!
Great ride, it does not stop for entry or exit, but staff very helpful. Good overview of the zoo and you get to see animals you cannot see when you are walking. No extra charge.
Although you get pastel de nata really everywhere in Portugal, the ones from NATAFina were also excellent. Many other tasty options, too. Staff very friendly.
Absolutely charming Brazilian host; With all the great food we had in Portugal, this one restaurant still stood out from all the others. Especially delicious, don't miss out on the desserts.
Were surprised to find such great food in the local "sports bar". Very delicious Italian food by amazing staff. If you are in the vicinity, definitely stop by!
If you want to treat yourself to some massage, beauty treatment or just book an individual space to rest (apart from all others), this is the place to go. Especially recommended for anniversaries :-)
Ultra modern carwash. If you can, go between 8-10 or 17-20, then it's a bit cheaper. Value for price is top, however, as you can use the vacuum for free for as long as you need.
Very friendly service and excellent offer of strudels. Do try the salty ones, but also the traditional apple strudel is amazing .
Simple, yet very cozy, clean and comfortable. Near the Therme Erding spa world, definitely can be recommended! Free Wifi and free parking available, also nice breakfast. Very friendly staff.
Best avoid weekends (hordes of children), cloudy, almost rainy days are the best. Get some animal food at the entrance but don't let the deer eat all of it, keep some for sheep, goats, pigs!
Unusual to have such a big zoo in the middle of the city, this also means it cannot spread any further, but still they manage to offer quite some space to the animals. Nicely kept, to be recommended.
Small menu, but amazingly delicious food. Book a table if you want to come here. And definitely try the duck rice!
Smaller shopping center compared to the Via Catarina across the street, but has the self-service laundry, so this is a plus for travelers. You can do some shopping while you wait for your laundry.
